Correction on post 219, it is connected to pin 5, this is the step up power supply for VAA. It runs at real high frequency, 280KHz ~1.08MHz.
The IC is: S8333,

Wow, ok. So does this MOSFET just need replaced? And on the datasheet link which one is it??

Since it start working when you touch that area with probe, I would try resoldering that area first. It can be the MOSFET, or the IC, ETC.

I tried to resolder the piece in question with no change in results. Picture fades as soon as it comes on.

You should look into new T-CON board at this point.

What is the number on the white sticker (DO-xxxxxx)? I have a V420H1-C07 tcon in my spare parts box but the number on the barcode sticker is what is needed to see if its a match or compatible.

I found one on ebay for $18.95. Ill post results as soon as i receive it. Hopefully it cures the problem. Thanks for all y'alls help.

I replace q 901 on power board replace caps I am getting 12dc going out
Going out of ps but no 24 v at test point can some one help me
To get the 24 v going out
