    Ue65f9000

Hello, I wonder if anyone could shed some light in the repair to the mainboard for this tv please, the mainboard is a bn41-01950c and also has a one connect box, after the apps logo is displayed the tv becomes unresponsive and the red led flashes in the bottom right hand corner of the tv, it then starts again and does the same, if it is this board at fault then does anyone know what the fault is with it
As I can't find a replacement in the uk.
    Thank you.

Maybe eeprom. You could try spraying freeze spray on it and see if it comes on. Is a one connect box a tuner? If so try disconnecting it and see if it comes on.

I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

Hi thank you, yes I have read it and is a confirmed main board however I can't find a replacement for less than £400, I could probably repair the mainboard if I knew why it was doing it, but haven't' got much on it to be fair.

It may be more cost effective to keep an eye out for a smashed screen set.

I had such a problem, rebooting in a circle. the problem was solved by re-rolling nand flash on the programmer. 15 minutes of work.

What do you mean "re-rolling"? I'm not familiar with this term.

And which specific eeprom chip are you re-flashing? There are a few eeprom chips I think. Can you list the PCB IC number?

                  Hi OCBSlimz:

I have a different problem. My TV does not freeze, or lock up, or reboot. The problem with my TV (UN65F9000) is a white screen with yellow/cyan artifacts (with or without the One Connect device attached) and no functionality whatsoever.

See the link to the thread below:

                  https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=63109

The solution is Mainboard replacement or repair (specific part number is BN94-06654B. Board markings are BN41-01950C, BN97-07631A. Your numbers may be different).

I am still trying to resolve the issue for my problem as of today's date. However, if your TV has a problem with freezing, or lock ups, or reboots, then your solution is also Mainboard replacement or repair, but you may be able to reprogram a new Nand flash or EEPROM chip as indicated by CDRW in his earlier post.

CDRW: Can you please let us know which specific IC you replaced or reprogrammed?

I successfully repaired my UN65F9000 TV with working mainboard replacement (TV was stuck on was white screen with cyan/yellow artifacts)

I plan to repair the old board when I can. I strongly suspect embedded eMMC memory IC1801 as highlighted in the image I attached below. eMMC = "embedded Multi-Media Controller" with flash memory and a flash memory controller integrated on the same silicon die.

IC1801 may be corrupted from a bad update? or like other garbage EEPROM designs, maybe deteriorated internally which is causing the inability to read or write program contents.

If I can read the contents of the eMMC chip from my working board, and re-program to a new chip for my faulty board, I think I can repair it... But I have no idea how to read/re-program the IC.

                        Hello all!

I have a ue65f9000 that turns off by itself after a few minutes.
I can browse sources, go to the menu, all eco options off, and TV still turns off by itself.
It turns on right away if I press the power button.

Does this indicates a Mainboard issue?

                        Has anyone faced similar problem?
                        Thanks for any inputs!

I picked this one up today.
Previous owner says no signs of life.
TV looks immaculate and its a 2022 model year so I thought maybe the one connect cable was damaged.
Got it home and put it on the Kill-A-Watt power meter and it was completely dead.

I immediately remembered EazyBone's Samsung The Frame TV no power....One Connect thread and am preparing myself to tear the One Connect open and hunt for dead parts.

Dell Latitude 7420 - Touchscreen not working since Mainboard replacement
                          by Mirenia
                          Hi everyone,

I've got a little "problem child": my Dell Latitude 7420 2-in-1, which had a faulty mainboard.
I replaced it, but ever since, the touchscreen no longer works — and honestly, I’m running out of ideas…

In Windows Device Manager, I just see an I2C HID Device with error code 10. Sporadically, the touchscreen is recognized correctly for just a few seconds, but I haven’t been able to determine under which circumstances this happens.

The touchscreen also doesn’t work in UEFI/BIOS, although it’s enabled...

Hi guys anyone have a link for the latest software update for sharp lc-49cug8052k i have tried updating it in the tv menu says upto date but its from 2018 issue apps etc freeze and apps slow to respond freeview and same apps played through firestick/hdmi playback all work ok

Edit have now done a factory reset tv still doing the same thing on apps the app freezes then after a while tv reboots and goes back too normal freeview tv channel. so guess it is a mainboard fault as davi.p suggested.

Vizio M43-C1 - How closely do I need to match the mainboard number?
                          by Devonavar
I have a Vizio M43-C1 stuck in a reboot loop with no backlight.

I've tested all the voltage rails coming out of the power supply and they are "normal" for this model (PS_ON & DIM go high when turned on, BL_ON & 3D_ON are close to zero due to backlight power flowing through the mainboard, 5VSB is 5V, and 12V is 19V, which is apparently normal for this board).

Basically, I get similar results to Garry in this post: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=80346

So, I've ruled out the PSU for now.

                          The reboot loop...

LG LCD LED x 2 Mainboard Fault?
                          by happyade123
HI ALL. I have two Lg Led Lcd Televisions that I have diagnosed the main board as being FAULTY. The first is a 37LV3730 which came in with the reported fault of red smearing while watching television and dvds etc. I hooked it up and sure enough it was flaring little sparkling red bits in random spots across the screen, very noticeable on a red background.
The second tv is a 42LV3730. The main difference that I can see between the two is the size of the screen. This 42 inch switched on but did not turn on the inverter etc and no voltage was fed to the tcon fuse despite the fuse being ok...
