So. if its still giving green yellow light. then what else could it be. firmware remains the only thing which i suspect since there is no sound and also no beeps from tv when remote is used. but that updating does not seem to be going good as i am trying since yesterday.. almost 100 times now i did that usb thing but no succes..

no. i have not because i dont have the means to replace those. they were the reason i bought new tcon.

then why on the old T.CON no Soc onstalled? did you remarked pin 1 of the SPI at replacing?

yes. pin 1 is at place on all 5 chips i replaced. the Soc are missing because i wanted to make sure if the short stays or not after removing the Soc's from old tcon. and yes. before there was 20ohms and after desoldering them it went to kilo ohms. and new tcon has a much higher reading. that was the only reason i removed them from old board

After replacing the eeprom, did your error "5" disappear? Or also in emergency update mode?

if yours work as you said correct... you need to disconnect the MB from PSU... and disconnect the 2 LVDS from T-CON side.... run the PSU to power on in stand alone mode... check yours screen if it show pattern... in case BL didnt come on.... use flash light to explorer the screen.... one things important the T-CON must have 12V on it fuse from both side... as yours t-con 12V come direct from PSU so we need to do this stand alone test

there will be no green or red or any things.on indicator LED... because MB will be out from the system.... only PSU and T-con and screen

yours standby 3.3V more or less go to DRV-on- Power On_ BL on.... etc... check the print charter on PSU boards

Usually, SONY will not display anything; when turned on, self-diagnosis occurs and if it detects someone else’s T-con or panel (Sony has hardware linked by ID), then it enters emergency update mode.

from his first post the issue was easy to handle. by hard reset the android system... plug out from wall joystick push and moved down... keep it in position then plug tv in wall.. remove the push finger only when indicator change from white to solid green
