Everything worked fine for him, the problem came out after installing someone else's T-CON, the backlight had nothing to do with it....

in standalone tcon has 12v on 1 wire. when all connected all pins has 25v.

backlite has no issues. i still can illuminate BL. wel. i am not an expert but the logic should be that a working firmware must be installed on a tv so that the working sequence is in order thus all functions should start as intended.

Once the firmware is ok then atleast it would give correct error codes related to the faulty board. since green yellow is a software error then there is no going forward untill this is fixed.

You have large USB flash drives, I already wrote that updates will not work for all flash drives, you need to find 2-4GB of the old model, I picked it up once, only on the 8th flash drive 2Gb (I don’t remember the company, maybe Kingston, or else what), but it didn’t work with others!

when front change to green at H reset BL must come on... even if T-CON fault

read the print chart on the PSU there should listed all V value and its current power

Those white things are kind of resisters going to tweeters on speaker lines.

this ribbon when i remove it backlite comes on. but there is a red blinking led then on driver board

then keep it disconnected and disconnect the 2 LVDS cable... and do stand alone yours BL will come on ... STB connect to power on ---tcon-on and BL_on interest want to see what yours T-CON will display on the screen

backlite does not come on when all is standalone. when mainboard is connected to power and that ribnon is disconnected then comes the backlite on.

But when lvds is disconnected and that flate is also disconnected then backlite comes on and shows nothing but mainboard is also powered on

yes. i saw just a video where an sony android is being paired with tcon and it does not go too easy or he shows how and what issues can come up. and there is no backlite untill it boots after being paired..

But again.. he was doing it with .pkg file. no zip were used..F***ing sony made things too difficult.

But the firmware i downloaded is update to android 10. maybe the previous version is .pkg but that is nowhere on there site. i think that must be android 9.

did you exam the usb of the firmware again on yours PC to see if there 2 files added on it root?

pull out the metainf file and zip it upload it on here.. also the zip of comparable.zip iof yours signed last zip...let see if i can trick the system to accept writing again.... sign no problem
