wel. if you mean the panel in my tv then i would not suspect anything there since it was working fine until the tcon broke.

the only issue which need to be resolved is the firmware. doing anything else will be no avail unless the mainboard functions properly. since its not pairing with tcon so for now panel issue is excluded. i would look there once i have a working mainboard with paired tcon..bricked firmware or non recognized tcon needs a fix 1st but i think its not going to happens since .pkg firmware is like finding nimo..

You don’t understand, sometimes a SONY eeprom is also installed on the buffer strips of the panel, and the panel ID is also written in it, and when installing the linked ones (motherboard + t-con), your panel will not correspond to them.

yours photo on LED driver boards you have the green indicator ON....... need to disconnect the ribbon of the boards from MB side and turn on... see if the front indicator change

when i disconnect this board from mainboard side then it gives a red led blinks on that led driver but green yellow does not changes

check if USB 5V had , then try freeze eMMC / NAND and do hard reset while keep the stick of firmware plugged in

all usb ports has 5v with multimeter and also usb stick led indicator blinking when used.

Freeze mean FREEZ? like make it cold. i can spray compressed air upside down so liquid is sprayed and it will freez. but it does not gets hot. very slight warm when tv is on..

Does this .zip firmware is any good ? everytime i plug the usb and its blinking for 10 minuts and when nothing happans for 1 hour i take it out and open usb in laptop i see there are additional files being created during the process like we have in android. camera, pictues , music en so on folders. so it does access the usb. but pff

yes use the zip file... its the last one 29.11.2023. , don't rename the zip keep it as its ... we need to freeze the chips not because it warm,,, but it help his sector to be fixable to accept operation.... if your update go on.. keep freeze it until it finish

Hi..

Bought 2x new usb sticks. in total i have now..

2x 16gb, 2x 32gb, 2x64gb and 1x128gb.. exfat, fat32 and ntfs formatted.. unzipped to the usb stocks with 7zip..

i closed the Underside of nand with duct tape and then sprayed compressed air upside down for 1 long minute until it froze inserted in tv plugged in the tv. usb activity for about 10 minuts and i was spraying in intervals to keep the nand freezed. after 10 minutes there was no more activity on usb led indicator and green yellow is there all the time..

again same procedure only inserted usb after 20 seconds tv was on. in simple way. all 4 usb's are insered in above method. non helped and same results with all of them.

My conclusion is that this is not the correct file type which the tv needed in order to install its firmware. since sony will not provide the .pkg file then i have no other option.

Seems like time to look for another tv. Its a shame that a firmware for a simple tv is not being shared and maybe the reason is to keep their service center running.

Man i said put the USB ... freez the chip and do hard reset... joystick push and down then plug in wall remove your finger when it change to green

Yes. it starts color of the led change to solid non blinking green for while then it blinks green yellow a few times then restarts and same as always

I think this .zip is never going to work. its for update winthin the OS not as a boot drive like installing windows with bootable usb.

its a zip update for the same systen but missing the core boot firmware which talks to the hardware. kind not a recovery firmware.

MB are fine... u have other issue rather than T-CON,,, i would start with BL... yours PSU fine too.. when you did PSU as stand alone did you checked the V on BL driver boards

by the way... stand alone should be STB connected to Power_ON & T-CON_ON & BL_OM

backlite is ok. if i disconnect one flate cable from motherboard to the BL driver then backlite goes on.

Tcon lets say at faulty. then why other things not working.. like before installing the tcon. it would give sound when navigating remote butrons blindly and backlite also was getting on without tcon.

now no backlite when all wires are connected. no sound when remote is accessed. and no white led like before
