anyway to confirm if eMMC is bad..? which programmer can be used to reprogram replacment eMMC? and what files are required..

What does eMMC have to do with it, who are you listening to, if everything worked fine before, you don’t have error “5” with your native t-con?, what problem happened with the old T-CON and you can post a photo of it.

That other reply to the post said maybe emmc is bad. Wel. old tcon was not good. The tcon processor chip was bad. no voltage was present there beside 12v..i sent that to the garbage last week.

With this replacement tcon all voltages are present. picture is of the new tcon.

I just dont get it. If fhere is no issue and its only a software issue then why the heck is it not picking it from the usb unless the file in there is a wrong format.

Since yesterday i have tried dozen of time. most of the time usb is active then the tv restarts then again its active and 3rd 4rd restart usb activity stops and green yellow continue. So maybe there is something i may be doing wrong like usb needs to be removed etc when it restarts or something..

During the whole process i green stready light for few seconds and steady yellow for few seconds and that all.

Is it time to let it fly to the ground from 5th floor or there is still some hope to save it.

It’s bad that you’ve already thrown out the old T-CON; you could transfer the eeprom (where the ID was located) from the old one to the new one.

oh that i have done already.. i have replaced 2 winbond chips to the new tcon but after i installed the new tcon and got the green yellow issue. then i transfered the chips.

Untill the last moment before installing new tcon. the tv gave sound. backlite etc and no green yellow issue

the moment i installed new tcon. all went wrong. green yellow issue. backlite went out and also no sound anymore

You transferred spi flash winbord, this is not the same, you needed eeprom, where the key was located, ID t-con.
Rather, any of these, their markings are hard to see.

You can determine which pins from those chips these control points SCL_T, SDA_T are connected to, I just don’t see the markings of these chips, everything is very unclear.

No, Winbond here “25” series is spi flash, and “24” series is eeprom.

wel there are those 2 large winbond and i have just took the old tcon from garbage and replaced all those chips from old to the new. sad enough its still green yellow..

all photos not clear... please upload clear photo on yours OLD and the new T-CON... and photo on whole back the TV showing how all boards connected..... you may have during your work damaged section on power boards of 12V rail of t-con support

There is no need to change these two large Winbonds, leave them in place, you need to change the eeprom, it should be one small one with 8 pin, nothing is visible from your photo.

You have a dual-processor T-con and each processor has its own spi flash and eeprom, where all the settings for the panel are stored; they cannot be touched or mixed up!

i have not mixed them. replaced one by one at a time from old board to the new..
