    Hi,

I have the service manual and it includes the partslists of all boards. Can neither find the cap C4707 nor the IC4701.

I cannot find that service manual, can you post a link to it?

Re: Sharp Aquos LC46XL2E LCD (2 flashing lights)

Any ideas? After switching it on i can hear a kind of tickering near the inductors at the bottom right edge. There is IC9601 which should provide the 3.3V, but it doesn't.

          Regards

Can't measure exactly because when the set ist turned off because of failure the voltage will be switched off. But after pressing power button the voltage jumps up. On standby the voltage is 0V.

As far as I know a Sharp LCD will just freeze the startup process should a fault occur, so the 3.3V, if it works, should come up and stay at the right value, or a wrong value...

So in this case there must be the wrong value. Is there a difference between Digital and analog 3.3V? And where could I measure these voltages?

Digital 3.3V and analog 3.3V may be separate.
Check pin SS (#6), or across C9602 (near the IC), should measure 3.7V when working.

                      You must have OPC enabled

Go to Menu and disable it you should be OK

You can start by downloading the service manual from elektrotanya, it is about 65MB so I cannot upload to BC.

I have the above TV. Black screen. Power blinks 2 times. OPC blinks once. Plug in with channeldown/volup. Powers up with solid green power but no light. I removed, cleaned and tightened the screwed on the inverters. I tested plug coming from the power supply to the inverter board when unplugged. INV12V shows 7.4 V DC. INV60V shows 0.1 or something like that. After plugging in the cable I don't get meaningful voltage from either one. (I measured after booting the TV with channeldown/volup.)

Is this a bad power supply? Or am I measuring something wrong.

Hello everyone, so the problem is the tv would seem to power up when i hit the power button as i would hear a relay click, sometimes it may give me a good picture for about 5 secs or so, sometimes i get a black screen, then shortly after it will click back off and i get power and opc lights flashing together twice followed by one flash of the opc light then it repeats.
Please correct me if i'm wrong but i understand the flash sequence indicates a possible power supply problem, can anyone say if this is accurate information? So going on that i went ahead and tried a factory reset, checked...

I found another post on this site the other day which has been very helpful in troubleshooting this issue I am having with my tv. The left half of the screen is dark, and the other half is VERY slow to generate it's image - and it only generates part of its image at that.
Based on this yt video, I have narrowed it down to an issue (short?) on the left side of the display, somewhere in the system of ribbon cables.
when I remove the bezel and the rear cover, I can get the image to display correctly by manipulating the ribbon cables on the left side which connects the left lower display...

Hello, I'm new to this forum. I like to tinker with Sony electronics, I have been lucky trouble shooting sony stuff, But I can't find much info on this Sharp TV.

The problem; plug to power>white led power indicator light is on>it turns on to the red Sharp logo>
then the android logo is displayed, lit fine then the android logo brightness varies, then lit normal, then the tv restarts and does the same startup logos over and over for 5 times then it turns off and the power indicator light flashes the trouble code 3 long blinks plus 3 short blinks .

                                      does...

hi, I have a sharp tv model LC-40LE814E with DPS-126CP-1 A power supply.

the tv initially turned on, displayed the image for 10 seconds and then turned off. so in a loop until the power was cut off.

reading the classic optocoupler problem I changed the mounted cosmos with SHARP PC817 recovered from other boards.

now the TV turns on for 1-2 seconds and turns off giving 2 flashes in the front LED.

to avoid banging too much I preferred to take an identical tested and working card (or so the supplier says)
