i have checked each strip individually and as a string and from the PSU side. and they are all fine and hold a steady voltage, i also tested the psu while the tv was power on and backlights connected, even though the backlights do not light up the psu is outputting voltage to the wires and i am no longer getting a red flashing led, possibly becuase the panel is removed ?? any other ideas ? first time ive encountered this problem with these tvs...

Sony KDL-65W855C after backlight replacement
Hi guys i have done many of these KDL-65W855c models aswell as 805c, 850c etc. i replaced the backlights with new after 1 strip was testing dead so just replaced the full array from TVLEDBARZ, i put all the strips in and both sides of the tv are testing 173v per side but tv still gets a brief flash and then 6 red led blink.
anyone any idea whats going on ? im assuming its not a fault with the new strips.
i should also mention i have tried swapping both the PSU and AV board from another tv with same model.

Hitachi 58HK6100U Strange Issue
Hi guys i was given this as a freebie. switched it on and screen displays nothing but backlights are on. first thought was panel so i tried some troubleshooting.
left tab unplugged - right side of screen fine
right tab unplugged - left side of screen fine.
i then plugged in left tab while the tv was on and both sides where fine, could access menu, NO SIGNAL splash screen etc.
powered off with screen ok and powered back on, back to black screen.
anyone else know what the issue could be ? i have another set the exact same with lines...

Re: LG 55UB820V 4K Powers up but No Backlight
for anyone following this thread, i have same issue, but i got brand new LED strips from LEDBarz here in the UK, all the LEDs and string test ok but DR on is missing. now i jumped 3.5v standby to DR_on and the backlights fire up when tv is switched on. is it safe to leave this cable jumped or will it cause damage ? any help appreciated thanks.
and also the tv is stuck on LG screen, does it need a replacement main ?Last edited by Mikeyboy2007; 03-12-2022, 08:23 AM.

Re: LG Logo stuck 43UF680V
i found the firmware chip, freezer sprayed it and no difference. i have noticed it responds to power on / off via remote control however it wont respond to in-stop or EZ-adjust signal. is there something else i could try ?
so if CPU soldering issue i could try as suggested in the oven with some flux at 220oc or so for 10 minutes. its a fan oven i have would this make a difference ?

Re: LG Logo stuck 43UF680V
I have freezer spray so will try and freeze it. Will need to look for its location on the board first.

No response to remote control other than turning on. Also to heat up i baked in oven 200°C for 15 minutes. Still the same.
