Dell Alienware x15 R2 LA-L611P no power on
Hi everyone, I have a Dell Alienware x15 R2 with an LA-L611P motherboard that won't turn on.
The customer connected dual power sources—both the main power adapter and power via the USB-C ports—and the PC shut down.
Upon checking the board, I found low resistance (around 20 ohms) on the +19VB line.
The capacitor on this line (PC2000) had exploded, and I found a shorted PUW3 (AOZ5332); I replaced it with an NCP252160 I had on hand (it should have similar specs, though I'm not sure if I should use the original part—let me know what you think).

yes exactly, I have no shorts on the capacitors around the controller, so I think it is useless to remove the capacitors.
yes it is a converter for amoled panel marked SM3201B.
I removed the coils, on one side I have 00.4ohm so I think it is the ground. on the component side I have no shorts. if I turn on the pc with the coils removed I have 0.5v. reading other posts I saw that those who had problems with SM3201B amoled converter the pc starts but displays only with an external monitor.

yes, the motherboard is able to charge the battery.
in the attached photo the values of the coils.
the only anomalous values seem to me to be those in the 2 coils in the video area 00,4ohm , where the monitor is connected.
the component where the coils go is SM3201B but I can't find the datasheet

Samsung NP750QFG-KA3DE does not turn on , Blue LED flashes 3 times
Hi everyone, I have a Samsung NP750QFG-KA3DE , MainBoard VESTA3-15 BA92-24515A
the battery is charged. pressing the power button the blue LED flashes 3 times and then stays blue. then the sequence repeats.
the fan does not start.
I noticed that I have no power on the processor and it does not heat up. could it depend on the bios?
any advice on what to check? -

Hi, I have a ps5 EDM-033 that lights up blue for 1 seconds and then turns off
the start sequence is correct, it reaches 320ma and then drops to 10ma
checking the card I didn't find any shorts

Hi everyone, I was looking for some advice on an Acer Aspire A515-56 with a FH5AT LA-K093P motherboard.
the PC does not turn on, the battery is completely dead.
checking the board I do not detect shorts.
the 19v of the charger stops at the first mosfet PQB3
on PUB1 BQ24781 pin 28 I have 19v.
connecting with a bench power supply I have no absorption.
nothing that heats up with a thermal camera.

PS5 EDM-033 UART 80810001 Beep 1 second Ligth
Hi everyone, I have a ps5 EDM-033 that beeps, blue light for 1 second and turns off.
reading the error codes via uart gives the following code:
80810001 General power failure (periphery, GDDR6, APU, data line shorted)
checking the card I didn't find any shorts, Boot sequence is quite right 325 mA dropping to 9 mA.
Using the thermal camera I can see the SSD controller and South bridge getting warm.
if I press the power button the RAM also heats up, the processor doesn't seem to. in fact if I go to measure I don't have +1v CORE output.... -
I tried to redo all the soldering but nothing. In the end I solved it by changing IC SLC1013M and SLC2013M. Thanks to everyone for the helpLeave a comment:

Samsung UE55F8000SZ Turns on and off immediately
good morning, I have a samsung UE55F8000SZ tv that turns on, shows the logo and turns off after 1-2 seconds.
This defect happens continuously, hearing the classic click of the relay every time.
Power supply board BN44-00636B
disconnecting the mains and lamps from the power board always causes the same problem.
Is it normal that without anything connected this power supply turns on and off cyclically?
any suggestions on what to check?

thank you very much the new bios works well.
At startup I had to enter the service tag and the exact model.
but now when windows starts it asks me for bitlocker recovery key which would be the reason why I tried to repair this PC.
do you have any advice? maybe there is some option to activate in the bios.
I read that someone opted for a bios downgrade, do you think this will solve it?
