Re: Gigabyte RTX 2070 error 43 but no artifacts, crashes on driver load
You have to compare the measurements between all DrMOS. If one is bad you will see it. You won't get a good looking rectangular voltage curve. Maybe you will have a higher ripple.

Re: Software to analyze Video RAM faults on graphics cards?
Hi, this is a really good guide by an absolute smart guy.

Re: MSI B450 Mortar Max bios dump needed.
Are you sure the password is stored in the bios? This will be more likely in a TPM chip or something similar.

Re: inno3D GTX780 no picture, not recognized
I found the failure. The NCP4206/4208 does not start if there is a missing driver mosfet. I wanted to start the card with just 5 of 6 phases but the phasecontroller doesn't start. So I soldered in a working mosfet and the card is running again.
Summary: 1 defective SIC780.
Best regards

Re: Graphics card Schematics and Boardviews
Does anybody has the schematic or boardview of the following cards?
inno3D GTX780
Gainward Phantom GTX780
Thanks in advance

Re: inno3D GTX780 no picture, not recognized
Thanks for your answer. The linked thread I do know. So I will try to find out the faulty component. I think this will be difficult because till now I can't trace back where the signal comes from or should come from. I will test again and keep you informed.

inno3D GTX780 no picture, not recognized
Hi guys,
I have a inno3D GTX780 on my bench which has a defective GPU VRM Mosfet Sic780. I removed this and wanted to test the card. The card doesn't give any picture and is not recognized by windows. So I measured the main voltages and there I saw the culprit. Some voltages are missing as you can see in the attached images. The two PWM-Controllers do not have an enable voltage. Now my question. Does anybody know where the enable voltages are generated?
Best regards...

How to test mosfets in parallel circuitry
Hey guys,
I have the question mentioned in the title. Is it possible to get the bad mosfet within a parallel circuit?
I think i read something about a current limited supply and look which of the transistors is getting hot?
Would this work without destroying another parts on the board?
Best reagards

Re: Dell 2407WFPb Monitor - Bad Cap
Hey guys,
I found the faulty component. IC651 was defective. Even if it is not shorted pin8 to pin4 it can by faulty.
So I changed R603, IC651 and IC601 just in case.
Thank you guys.
kind regards and a happy new year

Re: Dell 2407WFPb Monitor - Bad Cap
But I do not measure any shortcut on IC601 pins. And on IC651 I also do not measure shortcuts or the suggested 42Ohms. It's all in the kOhms range or above.
But to be sure I ordered IC601 and will swap that one.
C605 doesn't show any damage also Q651 doesn't measure a short. If it were shorted I can't measure the 310V over C605, am I right?
Regards...

Re: Dell 2407WFPb Monitor - Bad Cap
Hey Guys,
nobody wants to help me?
So I did the audiojack mod to verify the display and the other boards are working. And they do!
So the problem is really the power board. Does anybody have an idea what to check next. 19V are not present!
Regards
