Re: playstation 5 digital firmware dump
Writing someone else's dump to PS5 is possible. I checked personally. You need to choose the right revision. CFI-10XX & CFI-11XX are not compatible! You need to write down W25Q16JV, she is responsible for turning on the power of the console. From the unique data there is a model, and a serial number. They can be corrected by hand in the HEX editor. I have written a dump from CFI-1102A to my CFI-1116B. Now PS5 wants a drive that doesn't exist
Who can help with a dump from the Digital Edition of the second revision? I need CFI-1116B

Re: playstation 5 digital firmware dump
hello, can you share a spi dump? im looking for a dump and i cant find any. i have a EDM-010 motherboard disc version CFI-1015, possibly with a spi rom corruption, all standby rails OK, no shorts, three fast beeps when conected, no reaction to power button, no lights no anything, only three fast beeps when you plug the power cord to the AC. When powered the motherboard with lab power supply the motherboard will consume around 25-30 miliamps for about a second an then the consumption will fall to 4-5 miliamps. Looking for a working dump to test.Comment

Re: playstation 5 digital firmware dump
So, I have some BIOS files, but how can you confirm which console they are from? I assume these are encrypted and need to be reversed some kind of XOR value and possibly byte swapping, but I have no idea where in the hex to start looking.
Anyone got any info on this?Comment

by weisianHi all,
I have a VSX-1021 that dropped the UE22 error on me and is no longer was working. I've then done the following:
1. Tried updating the firmware with a firmware I found online but it hangs at 20% and ultimately shows "Update Error 1". I didn't check prior to attempting the firmware upgrade but the firmware after shows "***" for the DSP numbers. This was before I looked online that pushing an update through with a bad DSP chip could corrupt the firmware.
2. Tried reflowing the original DSP chip (D810K013BZKB4000) but firmware version remains "***"...-

by AhariHi all,
This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.
I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.
I...-

Hi all,
I’m working on an Aiwa TV-49UF30H that is currently stuck in a bootloop. I’ve done a full teardown and diagnostics and wanted to see if anyone has a firmware dump or matching install.img.
Symptoms:- Without USB: power LED flashes, TV immediately shuts off (bootloop)
- With USB (install.img): green LED + grey screen (appears to enter recovery mode but does not proceed)
What I’ve confirmed:- Main chipset: VM6901
- Storage: eMMC (Kioxia THGBMNG5, integrated MCP under heatsink)
- No SPI flash present on board
- USB recovery bootloader is working and detects

by theaarononeI have had this beast in pieces for days going through everything bit by bit - I finally got a chip to read off the main board and it has a high blank / ff count, so I'm wondering if anyone out there has this monitor in working condition that could provide a working firmware?
- Board number: BN41-03169A
- Monitor: Samsung Neo G9 57" LS57CG952NNXZA
- Symptom: No power, FPGA DONE/ALIVE at 0V
- Flash chip: Winbond W25Q128.V
- I've got a dump showing 74% erased/0xFF
- Requesting a good firmware dump from anyone with a working unit

by pcconnecthi,
long shot but with a hope... device stuck at logo and doesn't respond to any button. Tried to update firmware by System Architect via LAN but it won't talk. IP detected but no ping, no communication at all. According to the manufaturers web the firmware can only be updated by the software and the dump isn't available anywhere. I guess it can be flashed using CH341 with the right dump.
Any chance someone is in possesion of this device and can read the bin/rom from the ic? I believe the ic is U44 marked ATMLH338 2GB 2 2Y0941 and is located near the CPU.
Thanks and I appreciate...-
