Is this really common these days for a telly to go knackered and its just down to corrupted eeproms?


And another thing, is it right you just bung what you need on a mem stick and plug it into the patients usb port?

I don't know that it's super common but I just replaced the eeprom in an Insignia TV that would only power on about 1 out of 10 times.
Replaced ONLY the eeprom ($10) and now the TV never fails to power up!
