sorry been busy working on other stuff im going up to install that power supply but im still confused why im not seeing any voltages on the 24v line but by using this other board there will be no bl on connected to turn the 24v on or shouldnt it be on without even plugged in to the driver board or likewise on a lcd with inverter or do I have 2 problems one being the driver board and being some where else not turning on the 24v the specs on this power board says minium 12v could I connect to a 12v spot on the board or try to get 24v to it thanks and im enjoying this the more and more I read
Not sure if this makes sense or not but why would a bad led driver board cause no standby light on tv. doesnt this sound like more of a mainboard issue(maybe a bad eeprom or something). not sure just throwing it out there.
ok so board fixed my problen but then find out my cosmeticaly ok screen is in fack busted oh well ill post all the boards or look for another cheap one with busted led driver but with a good screen
just looked at the pic and did that
unscrew the heat sinks and the fets bend right over and
then reinstall the heatsinks and remove the two caps lay the one down and put the other one in with 24v and ground
Hard to tell by the ebay pictures but where are all the wires soldered too. If you dont mind can you give more detailed instructions. Sorry Im a little confused as what to do exactly. Did you also buy the $14 or the $50 ebay listing. thanks in advance
post 12 has a link to ebay its ended but the pic is there zoom in and you can see sorry as i have already screwed it back togather and put in a abox and put away til i get a screen
i bought the 14 and moved the stuff around and saved the 36$ for other stuff
hello everybody: I'm new here and so far I'd found very interesting information, I have the same problem ( display turning off after a couple of minutes of power it on)with my Vizio 42vse, so I'd just ordered the $14 board from china and I'll try to do the Mod.,
one question: when moving the pontentiometer what voltage should I'd to adjusted it? or should be better just to replaced it with a fixed resistor? ok I would post some Pict. if it works when I get it. Thank's
bmolke, a potentiometer is a variable resistor(look pic at post #20 the blue box) and yes I would post pictures and notes when I do it( in a couple of weeks when I'll receive the china part) Cheers
