I have this tv which has a blinking green light when plugged in no backlight nothing. I have tested the voltages and the standby is 1.5v with mainboard plugged in. If I disconnect the mainboard and inverter I get the 5v standby. what I did was connect a 2.2k resistor between 5v standby and power on, when I did this I was able to get the 24v and 12v with no boards connected(before I did this I had no 12v or 24v). This is telling me the mainboard is at fault. the problem I have is I don't know what to test on mainboard. any ideas would be awesome. I am not sure how to diagnose mainboard issues.... -

Bud, all voltages read low. The power supply is making a clicking sound which sounds like it is coming from the transformer. no led lights come on nothingLeave a comment:

I have this exact tv which does not turn on. I have found that the 12v output is only reading 5v and the 24v output is only reading 17v. what can cause the low outputs on the power supply. Can it be bad caps(although none are bulging). Not sure why the power supply is reading so low. I am a complete newbie so any help would be appreciatedLeave a comment:

vizio e320-a1 HELP!!!!!!!!!!
I have a vizio model e320-a1. when I plug it in I get white power light on then turns off after 1 second. I can then power on the tv, the power light indicator comes on but no backlights. I cannot turn the tv off after that without unplugging it. All the voltages seem correct from power supply and mainboard. Also have 38 volts going to the led lights(not sure if that sounds correct). The tv simply wont light up and Im not sure what to do. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. thanks -

Not sure if this makes sense or not but why would a bad led driver board cause no standby light on tv. doesnt this sound like more of a mainboard issue(maybe a bad eeprom or something). not sure just throwing it out there.Leave a comment:
