Re: No Standby Light on Samsung UN65MU6300FXZA with Mainboard BN94-12440E
I really hoped that this thread would help others Fix their Troubled Flat Panel Televisions.
I have to admit I am learning more than I expected from this post. Being my background
is a Mechanical Engineer in the Automotive Industry...
Now I know that I am just fishing for an Atta-Boy, because I don't get enough at home
Any Comments on the pretty picture I included on component location, or that the First Post
on this Thread was the Solution to the issue, and...

No Standby Light on Samsung UN65MU6300FXZA with Mainboard BN94-12440E
I had a Dead Samsung UN65MU6300FXZA with Mainboard BN94-12440E
Dead / No Power / No Standby Light results after power company had three
consecutive power outages on/off/on/off/on/off after which TV was rendered unresponsive.
After exploring the issue found Mainboard was the fault. Then with research on this site determined IC1604 was the suspect. The IC1604 is a surface mounted device (SMD) EEPROM, Winbond Model 25Q40CLSIP. A read on this EEPROM came back with all FF FF FF FF FF in all registers blank and empty of data. I had a spare mainboard with intact IC1604 and...Last edited by Michael Long; 09-13-2022, 08:20 AM.

Re: LG 34UC87M-BD.AUSLay Monitor
The Issue is a Stuck EEPROM from a power outage that left the IC205 in the Incorrect
state rendering the monitor dead.
I used a Fluke Multimeter that was set to Volts DC. Held the POSITIVE probe to the board on 19V+ power jack location , and the NEGATIVE to the SCLK* leg. *Held the probes for some time, then an Audible Tone is heard as your monitor turns on again. I had this work the first time but then removed power and EEPROM was stuck again. So I removed power from the Monitor for a few minutes and repeated the procedure...

Have you had any luck with your repair? I've come into possession of the identical monitor with your exact issue.

Re: Mitsubishi LT-55164 Blinking Green Light Is Back?
I installed fan on the GPU... Multi Volt Fan 3 v - 12 v running at 5 v... on the USB Circuit... See Image above for FAN Mounting. Fan was also a 80,000 hour MTBF
I also Re-flowed the GPU and Epoxied the four corners... My GPU now runs ICE Cold..
The 5 volt USB circuit will time out and eventually shut down...

Bad Barrier Rectifier on PS board of Sharp Aquos LCD TV LC-50LE442U
Related to the Sharp Aquos LCD TV LC-50LE442U... The TV in this case was DEAD no blinking lights and no response from the remote. All systems appeared dark.
The repair was accomplished by replacing the DM102 component. (MBRF20150CT) This sells on eBay as a Barrier Rectifier...

Re: Mitsubishi LT-55154 Blinking Green Light?
No mine was worse... Green Flashing LED of Death.
TV would not boot... I recapped the board with new Panasonic Electrolytic CAPs = NO JOY. I replaced Eeprom = NO JOY. I reflowed GPU as well as well as the two adjacent surface mount chips = JOY TO THE WORLD. I then added JB Weld ( Epoxy ) to the four corners of the GPU and added a 35 x 35 x 10mm ball bearing 80,000 mtbf Fan to the GPU Heatsink to create an active cooled cemented GPU instead of the passive held on by solder. This should avoid a repeat failure. I thought I saw a...Last edited by Michael Long; 11-19-2017, 10:11 AM.

Re: Mitsubishi LT-55154 Blinking Green Light?
Finally Fixed my Mitsubishi LT-55154. The Failure was identified by Nyjetfan21
so lets be sure to give credit where credit is do. I Reflowed the surface mounted GPU on the Mainboard. The suspect chips are under the heat sinks.
The Rig I used was originally used to re-flow GPUs on Laptop Motherboards.
Nyjetfan21 as well as I recommend that the Heat Sinks be Cemented to the
Main Board to avoid the GPU Heat and Heat Sink Weight dragging the GPU off the board when it heats up. Also Active cooling of GPU...

Refrigerator Control Board WPW10310240
Recently I had a coworkers refrigerator that stopped cooling after seven years of service.
This Control Board is located on the backside of the refrigerator. The control board part
number W10213583D replaced by WPW10310240 can be purchased for a repair service on eBay for
$80 but as we have learned in here why replace when you can repair your board yourself.
The Control Board has four 10uf 50v CAPs and I found the two 10uf 50v Capacitors off by themselves
were bad. The two 10uf CAPs side by side tested good. I would recap the entire board.
The...

Re: Mitsubishi Lt-46164
Not that I can prove it.... EEPROM Failures were prevalent in other Flat Panel TVs built during this era. LG / VIZIO. I have the same issue on a LT-55154 and will be replacing the EEPROM ( IC5G02 271P367010 IC:AT24C512BN-SH-T ). I Tried a EEPROM reset but NO JOY... at a cost of about $ 1.00 it is worth a try... will report back with my findings.

Re: Monitor Turns off after a few seconds with new caps
I replaced all Caps on a Viewsonic vx2255wmb inverter board DAC-19M011, no joy.
no lamp activity. Monitor works with borrowed power supply inverter board.
What is the next recommendation? Could someone point me to the transistors and
digi-key p/n to procure.
