The thread has all the info. I've come a long way since this TV. I have also learned that I hate sonys. Once he can test the panel then I'm sure we will have an answer. I haven't seen one of these tvs get fixed yet.Comment

Diah I apologize for my lack of knowledge and not paying attention as much as I should. My readings were incorrect as you stated as I did not read the pins on the bottom part of the connector. I have been stopping my work on other repairs to learn TV's and have noticed my mind has been split between this and working on my other repairs so I apologize for my absent mind during these posts!

In saying that I do have 3.5v for the STBY. Staying on 2 I still don't have any readings on the 2 black connectors going to the T-CON as well as the white connector.

EazyBone I also was laughing at myself going back through these posts lol. I also apologize for adding two pages to this thread of nonsense haha Comment

I have 3.5v going to pin 1,3,5 but no picture. Do I need to jump some points to turn the TV on or do I just plug it in?

if you did the jumpers correctly on the assigned pins. and you plug the tv in wall.... if no screen... test the sockets on the t-con all at fuses from both side if you have V.Comment

Put it on the table and the bridge is good. CN6601 only have 12.8v in Pin 1 and 3, Pin 2 only has .07. Everything else is 0v. What is the R or LOI?Comment

this rail pin 3 are EVDD which right now missing V on socket 6101, you need to follow the rail from pin 3 socket 6401 circuit till the optocoupler , there you have issue which the EVDD circuit didn't startComment

			by iglitareHi,

i want to repair a Sony KD-75XF9005 TV that initially only showed a grey picture.
Backlight seems to work, Sound (Setup menu after reset) works.
If i dissconnect the left FFC cable from TCON to panel i have half a screen on the right. If left cable is connected always only the grey screen.
Interchanged the cables, its always only the right side that is working. Always grey if left side is connected.
With my small knowledge i would think at least the cables are good.

Can this happen because of a bad tcon board?
Or is it always a bad/shorted...

			by jason123Hi there,
I see a couple of posts related to the troubleshooting of similar TV. The one I have is acting slightly differently and I'd love your help.

So it has the 5 blinks. Previous owner got a TCON, no luck. Got a new Main board (though he didn't do the USB firmware update), again, no improvements.

I see 2 posts that are relevant:

			by kcaHello all ~

Hope this finds you well. This LG 82UN8570AUD (April 2021 model) 4K UHD television has full audio capabilities but video is compromised / problematic.

When I picked up this large LG tv it had a full black screen upon startup. Previous owner said it just went black one day. No popping sound or anything else of note.

I got the display to work by taping off several traces of the right-hand side ribbon cable on the TCON that leads from TCON to PANEL. However, despite dozens and dozens of attempts to find the right combination / range of traces taped...

by thelankanguyThe TV shows a black screen with no image.
TCON ribbon connectors were disconnected individually for image and there was no half image even.
Later both ribbons were disconnected and TCON voltages were tested.
12V, 3.3V, 1.8V were seen present but VONE signal reads 0V.
There is also a short to ground in this circled inductor.
Is this a TCON issue or something else ?...

			by bbrainHi,

I have this problem with my Sony 55' AG9.
 It flashes 4x.
I have found the service manual, and seems it is the TCON.

Before I buy a TCON can someone check the vid?

 Thanks in advance!...
