Re: Dell Xps 13 9370 bios
There is no more error on ME Analyzer, I compiled new version of it by pyinstaller and attached it to this post
well, well, i have checked all voltages based on compal schematic and everything was OK, MEC5105 has no sign of life with the current bios but when i program other bios files which i collected from internet it will start by power button and shows 3 times white LED and 3 times orange LED blinking on and on, i cleaned ME and EC image region but nothing changed, still no sign of life with my own bios even when i cleaned ME and EC region of it, anyone has any idea? what is wrong?Attached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

Re: Dell Xps 13 9370 bios
Thanks everyone, I have fixed my bios and laptop is working again, without your bios samples was hardly possible to do this, i figure it out ec region is for an arm based processor and you can't fix it by FIT even if you extract ec program from executable bios updates, i easily fixed it with IDA pro, I share my fixed bios here for others to use if they need, you can use hex compare to see how two bytes can stop a healthy hardware to workAttached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

Re: Dell Xps 13 9370 bios
Hi,
I have a Dell 9370 (board version CAZ60 LA-E671P), the symptoms are: it turns on, keyboard lights up, fans spin, but no post, and it turns off after 20 sec or so. I checked the board, visual check OK, no shorts, MOSFET's measure fine, memory + CPU resistances OK, there is correct voltage on all rails. So I guess it is a BIOS issue.
I am not good with ME cleaning/BIOS repairing, could someone help me with fixing this? I prefer the newest BIOS version with DMI info transferred. I have attached a BIOS dump.
I thank you very much in advance for your help!
Cheers,

I see two strings in your dump looks like service tag (SVCTGG1-DGKXNQ2), but non of them give me result in dell site.Hi,

Re: Dell Xps 13 9370 bios
Hi all,
I tried hoaca388's BIOS first, and it worked marvelously!!! Just so other people know, first it dropped a blink error code for low CMOS battery (which is already a very good sign, as with the corrupted BIOS there were no error codes at all). After changing the CMOS battery, it dropped a blink error code for wrong memory installed, which was weird, as it comes with soldered-on memory. After a power down-power up sequence it POST'ed and works like a charm though, so I guess it was only adjusting memory timings.
I thank you very much both for the fixed BIOSes, you are both very great!
Cheers,

Re: Dell Xps 13 9370 bios
Hoaca,
I have a small problem with your BIOS file though. There should be a Windows 10 key in the BIOS, I am missing that, and the Dell site does not automatically identify my notebook for driver download based on the service tag (this is not such a big problem).
Could you tell me whether there is a Windows key in the DMI of my old BIOS? Is it possible that your fixed BIOS does not have DMI information?
I thank you very much in advance for your reply.

Re: Dell Xps 13 9370 bios
Hi,
This is strange, Windows should detect the integrated key, but it doesn't. And I am not getting any kind of Message from BIOS that manufacture mode is active. Thank you anyway for the info, I will add the key manually.
Cheers,

by AhariHi all,
This is my first post here (I am very new to forums!) and I hope someone can help. I am looking for a full dump of the BIOS of a HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 so that I can get this mini server running again. (BIOS version J06 2019-04-04, chip 25Q064A). I think my board was partially bricked after a failed BIOS update.
I got it second hand in this state and all the normal attempts at bios restoration have not worked. I have even desoldered the chip and tried to load the actual BIOS from HP, but it is missing some parts needed to boot the system.
I...-

by mikeybassHi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked. I decided to copy the main BIOS and EC from the working 9010 computer and successfully flashed the corrupted BIOS. This got the computer able to boot again and run norm...

by capoplaysHey everyone,
I recently bought a Dell G15 5515 with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and 3060 RTX. The BIOS chip on it was dead, and my hardware guy replaced the chip. After that, everything was working fine.
The BIOS is currently at version 1.22.1, and I wanted to update it. I downloaded the latest BIOS version from Dell Support using my ST: FQZMYJ3, but when I tried to run it, it says "unsupported system." I asked my tech guy what he did, and he said he took the chip from another board and flashed it onto mine.
When I check the BIOS using the F12 menu Flash...-

by Akhlz001Hi,
Could someone help trying to unlock this BIOS, seems that Dell have changed the layout of new Dell Pro 8FC8 bioses from checking HXD - 4000 bits do not need changing, only 2000. However after FF the section starting from '01000' upto 2000 bits and then soldering the chip back it seems that the microchip on the motherboard is recovering the bios back to original settings after first boot. Has anyone found a way to crack this extra layer of security Dell have implemented? Seems both HP and Dell have upped bios security to match Lenovo by implementing extra measures on a separate...-

by jhanraHi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.
so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, 😅😅😅...-
