Dell Latitude 5400 Chromebook UEFI bios

Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.

so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…

    known issues:
realtek alc3204 audio driver in win 11 compatibility issue i think
TPM device is not detected at boot, (everytime you boot) no option in bios to disable it
bluetooth device not working as it is not detected in bios
the device boots about 20sec. to display dell logo everytime
F2 is not working in windows but you can remap it
type c port is not working, download updated bios in dell 5400 windows version website to work
(i updated bios 5 times for testing) so i think its safe

    other than that its usable
note: write down your service tag as you will enter it in bios in first boot

    my board code is
    EDB46 LA-H771P REV. 2.0 (A01)

PLEASE dont ask me anything about fixing issues as this is my first time doing this
you can also edit this bios to fix this bugs

try at your own risk, i`m not responsible for anything if you brick your device
    backup your bios before flashing.

ec is not needed to flash as it came in the main bios
but you can also flash it

bios only is fine, send feedback if it works for you

update the bios to the latest version in dell 5400 windows version website to make the usb type c working

I recently purchased a DELL Latitude 5400 Chromebook๏ผˆsame board ID๏ผ‰, which is currently in transit. I will soon test the BIOS you provided and give you feedback. Additionally, can you share how to port the Windows version of the BIOS for the DELL Latitude 5400 to the Chromebook version?

you need an SPI programmer...here is a video for example..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWWi...nnel=ThisIsHow
Due to a lack of donations, server free space at a critical level, and possible closure of Bios Requests all donations are welcome, click:

Has anyone already tried the bios.bin for a Dell 5400 Chromebook to upgrade to Win 10?

What problems does this ported bios.bin file cause in Win10?

Flash com CH341 bios.bin then install FastOs Win10 and then update drives the only thing that doesn't work is bluetooth I imagine because of the wifi card that can be replaced from there everything works even Intel 620 drives

If the 20 second wait and the TPM error message could be written out of the bios, that would be perfect! Let's turn to one of the "BIOS wizards" to write the .bin file!
