I would like to find out what part number this is and replace it! I'm almost sure its a set of fets in that little 8 pin package...
Anybody out there got one of these boards in the scrap pile and could verify part numbers maybe?

how can you read a schematic if you don`t know the motherboard code ?
and when its PQ usually (for me was always a 30v N-channel mosfet)Just cook it! It's already broken. -

These tend to come in pairs so possibly the same as the one below in your picturePlease upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

If the mainboard is LA-4101P then it is P-channel mosfet.

Hi, did you managed to fix that laptop? If no, could you please check if it powers up with the bios recovery routine? (no USB present just to prevent unwanted updates).
The routine is 1) unplug the power cord and battery 2) hold down WIN + B keys 3) plug in ac adapter 4) hit power button
If it powers up please commento so I can trace my issue that is no power at all unless I make this procedure but didn´t seems to work to restore bios nor charging the battery.

Hi Ktmmotocross, thanks for answering. Are you possitive on that? because I was almost discarding a power switch faillure since the system power up (aparently as it should) whenever I made the INSIDE bios recovery routine. No power at all in other cases, and no battery charge in both cases.

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I have wanting to do this project for quite sometime now and I finally found a switching power supply that will work on this desoldering gun station ZD-915 that the original switching power supply took a shit and just was not worth trying to fix it because this switching power is not quite big enough to handle the heater element and the vacuum pump
One note when I tested the switching power supply and the voltage control board I noticed that this desoldering gun heat up much faster than the original switching power supply which I was really surprised by to the point that I might buy... -
