As the schematics for your board is not available, search for the charger ic (BQxxx, ISLxxx) on the board and find where these pads with missing components are connected to. Then find schematic where the same charger ic is used and use it as example.Leave a comment:

And it is showing charging/not charging? Use some kind of utility to display detailed status of the battery (Aida for example shows charge/discharge rate) rather than just relying on windows. Also do you have the original power adapter?

Battery is not the source of the 3v on data lines, it is coming from mainboards 3V rail, which is strange if you are saying that if running only from battery the 3v is present. It should be there when running from adapter also. Take the measurements again when running on adapter with and without battery....Leave a comment:

You can probably use schematic and boardview of 820-03285, from the pictures it looks similar, at least the screen part. Measure lcd backlight and 3V resistances first.

First things that are strange are SCL and SDA should be 3V, these are the communication lines with battery, BATTPRES should change when battery inserted. I assume that battery is not detected in OS. The data lines are usually pulled high via resistors, find these and check.Leave a comment:
