I tried that one( it's 2016 A) and the console came to life but yeah no wifi. The odd thing is that I reflashed the original bin file that was supposed to be corrupted and now the console works but still no WiFi. I wonder if it's a wifi module issue.

Yes, I think that is an issue with the wifi. But I guess it is more a wifi firmware missmatch than a defect. Can you confirm, that the console serial number on the ps5 shell matches the infos on the original nor (0x001C7210)? Same thing with the mac adress from the wifi module (0x001C73C0 - 6 Bytes little endian)?

Yes, the serial numer matches with the console shell but i cant check the wifi mac address because i cant find it anywhere in the console shell. i will try that bin file.

i guess im going to try to reflow the wifi chip. i bought this console with a 3 beeps of death, i dont know if the wifi issues was there before or if was caused by nor chip getting corrupted. Its just weird that the same bin file that was corrupted and was causing 3bod its now working.

Anyway if anyone needs a bin file for a CFI-2016 B01Y (EDM-041) (it may have wifi issues)

You know you shouldnt use other peoples dumps, it overwrites per-console data. You're better off repairing it or making an entirely new one from scratch whilst using data from the original as a donor.

How would you go about repairing your existing nor read? I'm just trying to fix my own console. Shelling out 100+ dollars for your utility to use it once isn't exactly in the cards.
