One there for 34, from reading description they said it may have lines on the screen. I don't think I see any, who knows, they may have had a tcon or panel probem or could be the mainboard is faulty: https://www.ebay.com/itm/VIZIO-M370N...QAAOSwSflbl~VD

I ordered the eeprom, will replace that in the non tested board I got from ebay as soon as I get it in the mail.

EEprom did not fix it. I am wondering if I should use it on the original board in case that one is corrupted..any thoughts?

I bought a non working non tested board from ebay, I replaced the eeprom on it. that did not fix it..with this board the tv will not power on...I am thinking about..installing this new eeprom in the original main board that did turn the tv on with back lights but it would power back off in 2 to 3 seconds..what do you think?

It does seem to point to the main board, being a vizio it could be the eeprom? You could try freezing the U53 eeprom ic. Either with cold spray or an inverted canned air.
freeze the eeprom with the tv unplugged, wait a few seconds then plug it in and turn it on and see if it makes a difference.
It could be corrupt data and when it hits that point it does'nt know what to do so it turns off
I replaced the EEPROM on the original board and now the TV stays powered on and works as it should. so the EEPROM must have been corrupted as you said.

Glad to hear and thanks for the follow-up on the repair.
I am also glad you did not take the LCD panel apart and taking chance of damaging it.

This must not be the typical symptoms of a faulty EEPROM, but I am glad that replacing it fixed the TV as well as not having to take the LED Panel apart...Thanks Bud for all your help.
