Re: Sharp LC-60LE640U 1 long, 1 short blink
Thanks guys, that's what I figured through my research the past few days. Only thing now is to weigh my options between fixing myself and taking it into a repair shop. Now, Im not an expert on electronics but I can complete projects when necessary. what do you guys think?

Re: Sharp LC-60LE640U 1 long, 1 short blink
The thing about fixing is, trying to find the same led strip, which I wasn't able to.
Also it is very easy to break the lcd screen getting off or putting back on. If you even look at to hard it might crack. I've cracked 2, lol, and the bigger they are the flimsier they are.
One sharp 52" had the screen that came off with the metal bezel around it all in one piece, so it was safer and easier to remove.

And yes they are 6 volt LEDs.Last edited by fixitelectronix; 12-25-2018, 11:27 AM.

Re: Sharp LC-60LE640U 1 long, 1 short blink
Sorry for reviving this old thread. I have this exact blink sequence, and powering on with Chan_down+Vol_up does in fact force the set to come online. I can't seem to find the maintenance menu/screen that shows me the lamp failure count, etc. Any pointers?
