    Sharp LC 80C6500U 1 long 1 short blink

    Hello all, I have been here from time to time and now I'm back for some assistance.
    So I have the TV above and its doing the one long and one short "V" blinking. I did the reset on the controls on the side of the TV and while holding down the volume - and the input button, then plugging in the TV the "V" light is solid, then very briefly I see the backlight flash, then the "V" goes back to the 1 long and 1 short blinking. I just want to make sure its the backlights before I get the parts to fix it. Is there anything else I can do to confirm its the lights.

      one other thing I noticed when doing this procedure is there is a quick LED light blink on the mother board

          Hello Sharp TV experts
          Our Sharp LC-80LE642U displays one short one long flash error code which is a backlight error. I went into service mode and there were 8 lamp error counts recorded. I reset the count to 0 and did a reset. The last monitor error cause was 16 B00014639:12. 16 is the code for backlight error. I tried to power the tv up but went back into error mode.

          > I checked voltages on the power supply board and they all check out .. including 3.28 volts at the error pin.
          > There is power to the cpu and T-CONN and no faults found there. The cpu has a flashing...

          Hello, I'm new to this forum. I like to tinker with Sony electronics, I have been lucky trouble shooting sony stuff, But I can't find much info on this Sharp TV.

          The problem; plug to power>white led power indicator light is on>it turns on to the red Sharp logo>
          then the android logo is displayed, lit fine then the android logo brightness varies, then lit normal, then the tv restarts and does the same startup logos over and over for 5 times then it turns off and the power indicator light flashes the trouble code 3 long blinks plus 3 short blinks .

          Hi everyone , I need your help with this board and it's giving me a hard time . 3 long and 2 shorts base on HP site it's a MEMORY ERROR , tried replacing RAM it's still the same. RAM VOLTAGE has 1.2V i think it has a complete voltage a 3.3v and there's also ah 2v , tried checking pins if there any damage or unsoldered and everythings good , now I don't what should I do next. Also tried reflashing and programming the bios and still the same, hopefully there's someone who can help me with this since im having like 4 laptop with the same error.

          Very handy and tech newbie here trying to learn to fix my TV that died after a lighting strike

          Icon Flash 2 Long 3 Short
          Power PWB Failure
          Power supply error 2 (*2) D+3.3V error

          D_POW
          Digital 3.3V failure Flashes fast 3 times

          DET_D3V3 (33pin) failure (L). Digital 3.3V is not applied.
          If error is detected during start-up or operation, the power is turned on again by polling.

          Above is what manual states not what I confirmed, but would lie to but not...
