So I usually only work on guitar tube amps but a friend ask if I could look at his EV Evolve 50. It has no sound coming out if it from any input. I'm assuming it's a power amp problem. The unit power up, I did pull the amp out slightly and did see some LEDs lit up.
Aux15v on. Lit
SMPS. Lit
Amp on. Lit
Don't know where to start!!
I did have something odd, the large cap 220uf 450v had 66VAC AND 52 VDC on the top exposed part where the expansion lines are.
I'm going to post this and figure out how to post pictures.... -

Hello all, I have been here from time to time and now I'm back for some assistance.
So I have the TV above and its doing the one long and one short "V" blinking. I did the reset on the controls on the side of the TV and while holding down the volume - and the input button, then plugging in the TV the "V" light is solid, then very briefly I see the backlight flash, then the "V" goes back to the 1 long and 1 short blinking. I just want to make sure its the backlights before I get the parts to fix it. Is there anything else I can do to confirm its the lights.... -

Just wanted to update the repair on the TV and thanks to
brandontvparts on Ebay
he gave me the best price on the main board and shipping was super fast.
the TV is up and running. Thanks to everyone that helped, you guys are the best and Ill be back on the next one, in the mean time I'll be here reading and learning.

R_J, j807 is 9.67 with everything connected. if I disconnect the main board connector it goes to 12.84 and the back light comes on.

Hello nomoresonys and CapLeaker, thanks for the replys I will do test 3. And CapLeaker there is no power LED when I hit the power button that I can see. I am not that familiar with this TV I am trying to help a friend. Where is the light located. I will go and do the test for you nomoresonys.

hello all I hope someone can help me troubleshoot my TV. It's a 4K curved only 2 years old. The power supply is a BN44-00808E.
Symptoms:
Nothing happens when power button is hit. I opened up the back and have poked around and there is no voltage on the stand by pin on the power supply, but there is lots of other voltages that seen right but not for sure. If I unplug the connector going to the Main board the back light comes on, but as soon as I plug it back in the back light goes off. Nothing on the board looks bad.
