    hi guys not sure if this is the correct forum for this post if its not maybe someone could move it.got an skybox f3 no life.the cable that connexts to the mainboard from the power supplyone end is soldered to the power supply and the other end clips into the motherboard.with the power on i put the black probe of my multimeter on the top ground and go down the voltages with the red probe heres what i get.

    gnd=0
    24v=35v
    12=11.5v
    gnd=0
    5v=0
    5v=0

    just wondering if it is a badcap issue.any help would be appreciated.

    Possibly IC1, if its a 7805....

    PSU is running--so its confined to 5V rail, or maybe D9...

      5V rail is dead. So I think we need better pictures from top and bottom of the psu.

        that shit looks worse than a spiderbox HD series!
        check for cracked solder joints on the psu.

                IC1 is probably TL431 series ref diode which drives the OPTP OPT for Voltage regulation..
                We do need good clear pictures of the bottom side of the board.

                    You need to check the Diode (I cannot read the designator on the board) for the 5V supply and check all the connections from the Diode all the way to the 5V terminal.
                    The regulation is done by taking the 5V output for feedback to maintain output Voltage.
                    Nothing complicate on the outputs side just simple Half-wave rectifying and Pi filters.
                    BTW, what is the resistance reading between 5V pin and the GND pin?
