So with the charger plugged in my multimeter in dc voltage on the vcc leg reads 0.16 volts so i assume the chips bad right? -

hi guys bought a ambiano eletric window cleaner from a charity shop had a full charge when i bought it ran fine went to charge it and it wont charge the chargers fine so had a look at the motherboard.in the picture i have continuity from the charging port negative pin to the 2 negative points matked in black on the board.but on the posotive side i only have continuity to the first red point marked in the picture not at the second marked point.any ideas....

yes black probe on chassi and red probe on each connection on p6.i done the p6 check before i did the r104 check.so my multimeter was working fineLeave a comment:

i measured the p6 connector in dc mode with the tv power on and i wasnt getting any readings from any pin.Leave a comment:

checked the r104 and it reads 1 think i might have shorted it when i checked it with the leccy on.
the 5 fuses on the board the 2 pink line ones read 1 and the other three read 0.
would replacing these fuses and r104 resistor be worth doing.
what are the 2 fuses with the pink lines in the middle and where would i get them and the r104 resistor....Leave a comment:

dont know how to check the fuses on the board maybe you could tell me and what setting the multimeter needs to be on to check them.i checked the ac voltage on the white plug and it reads 370 i then turned it to ohms if thats the right setting on my multimeter see picture and it reads 3.7 and kept tripping my eletric....Leave a comment:

hi guys having a problem with this tv wont turn on.no standby light no clicking noises nothing. done some basic voltage checks on the power board as im an amatuer and theres nothing from top to bottom not one reading.any help would be appreciated.... -

tv has a thin green line down left handside at start up of tv goes away in a few minutes.any ideas tcon? -

hi guys i have a chrome book model xe303c12 which wont turn on.i have just tested the charger and its giving out 19.8 volts its supposed to be a 12 volt charger.could this be the reason the chrome book wont turn on. -

so update put new batterys in my remote and the tv turns on with the remote and all remote functions work but i cant turn the tv on from the side panel.Leave a comment:

symptos=plug tv in blue light comes on tv for 2 seconds then goes off tv wont power on.
checked the voltages on the 5 voltages at the top its reading 7.1 theres nothing from the 24 voltage pins and there 0.38 from the yellow wire near the bottom.not sure where to go from here i was hoping to see a badcap and just replace it.... -

hi guys not sure if this is the correct forum for this post if its not maybe someone could move it.got an skybox f3 no life.the cable that connexts to the mainboard from the power supplyone end is soldered to the power supply and the other end clips into the motherboard.with the power on i put the black probe of my multimeter on the top ground and go down the voltages with the red probe heres what i get.
gnd=0
24v=35v
12=11.5v
gnd=0
5v=0
5v=0
just wondering if it is a badcap issue.any help would be appreciated.... -

ok checked the vsc on the ysus board and it goes from 003 to 001.the vy is 096 these readings are with the tv on and the zsus board disconected.because when the zsus board is connected the tv goes straight to standby which has just started happening since i tried that jumper test.Leave a comment:

ok after reconecting the zsus board to the ysus board the tv turns on but goes straight to standby which wasnt happening before.removed zsus board from ysus board to check the voltages and the powerboard vs is 204 and the va is 54 can you point out where the vsc and vy are on the ysus board.so can i check the zbias on the zsus board in standby?thanksLeave a comment:
