Bypassed the blown up charger management circuitry with an external board and its all back up and running! Even hitting Intel boost clocks.
Battery failed long ago so i just shoehorned the circuit into its place. Should keep this going until i upgrade next year!

Looking for Dell Latitude 7490 LA-F322P Rev: 3.0 schematics and boardview
Recently had an OEM Dell charger go wildly out of regulation and fry the input section on this laptop
Looking for boardviews and schematics to be able to rebuild the input section or at least repower the laptop from an 11.4v source
Thanks

Alienware Aurora R5 dxe fail bios
System boots up to "boot guard verified dxe that is fail"
BIOS recovery can't be entered and F10 does not continue booting.
Uploaded .zip is a ROM dump of the BIOS eeprom on the mainboard.
If anyone knows how to fix this failure, help is appreciated.
Thanks...

Guess i throw my Ghetto fix for an ASIC card in an S19Pro out here.
And yes, it worked. But needed a modified firmware to do so...

Re: Post your system.......
Lol
Life changes been keeping me busy. New hobbies, new jobs, homesteading, finally found a mate, trying to work my way into shutting down my life here and pulling up roots to move to Tennessee.
Not everyone can say they have gone 180mph down a highway in TN.
Not everyone can say they scaled the steel structure of the first Edison powerplant west of the Mississippi.
Im just out here keeping myself busy and trying to make something of myself
And well, the way things are going...Last edited by goontron; 06-09-2022, 07:03 PM.

Re: Post your system.......
I suppose i will post the computing cluster that ive been tasked with building and maintaining at my new job since i left GM.
Its a defined purpose cluster that does computing work specifically with the SHA-256 algorithm.
310 nodes
32,000,000,000,000,000 SHA256 hashes per second, average
1.3MW power usage

Re: Server emulation??
Welcome to not owning the copy of the games you have purchased
It could be anything as simple as a DNS redirect to your own server, to needing to be able to root the console and install your own stuff to make it happen. Or a combination of both. Either way you are gonna be reverse engineering how Nintendo made the save data workLast edited by goontron; 10-28-2020, 03:49 PM.

Re: SSD ( samsung ) locked
It a long shot, but try issuing a secure erase. Some SSDs will wipe the data and remove the password along with it

Way Underdamped
Still impressive!

Re: Sending PWM through a relay
I would think using an SSR to make the connection, pull in the mechanical contactor, then dropping out the SSR would still prevent the losses and save the life of the contactor. Inverse for disconnection of the circuit of course....

Re: Sending PWM through a relay
Much clearer!
Some more notes to make:
Contact "Bounce" will mess up anything that "tracks" the PWM signal. For a modulated load, such as a heating element, this is not a concern. Usually only when timing is involved, so this doesn't apply if you are switching load(s) that are being fed PWM modulated power, however for SIGNALS it does.
The best time to switch on or off the relays is when the PWM is low/off as it will eliminate arcing of the...

Re: Sending PWM through a relay
Im not sure what you mean. Through the contacts or coil?
Through the contacts is fine. As a note, best practice would say to switch off at a zero crossing of the PWM circuit or AC line if you are using the PWM to modulate an AC signal.
Through the coil isn't the best idea, as it can lead to arcing of the contactsLast edited by goontron; 03-15-2020, 09:18 AM.
