Hello friends,
I have a EliteBook 840 G7 where I flashed the 32mb BIOS chip with HPUnlocker but the password still exists.
Now I read about unlocking the 16mb chip and also use RCUnlocker.
I could not find the 16mb chip.
Anybody have experience with unlocking an 840 G7?Comment

Hello! I received a faulty 840 G7 laptop with two BIOS chips removed. My customer said that the laptop was locked to the company (Windows Autopilot?) Serial: 5CG1364XCT (this number inside the dump matches). I couldn't start the laptop - it blinks 2 times. Probably the original dumps are damaged. I tried different ways of cutting off the dump from the official website, also with replacing the ME region. I also tried flashing both chips from "#298".
Does anyone have verified service dumps for this model? with which the laptop will definitely startAttached FilesComment

Thanks for the given file, however it did not work at all. The mainboard behaves faulty as before without any improvement. I tried this dump you sent in pair with my native dump EC, as well as with other EC dumps I could find. No positive result.
I would like to ask if this dump you sent launches any mainbord, because in my case the removal of slips by the hub is not executed, as well as the power cores is absent because of this. I would like to be sure that the problem I am facing is not caused by the BiOS dumps pairing.Comment
