Hai, can someone help me get my bios unlocked? I have both the 256 and 128 ic chips attached, and if it wouldn't be too much of a bother, would someone like to teach me, or at least explain, what they are doing/have done to unlock these chips? Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,... -

Is there any available method to perform a bios password unlock on an ThinkPad L14 Gen 4?
CPU is Ryzen 3 PRO 7330U.
What about though Lenovo? It has the best support plan. They asked for the receipt, however it was sold though a reseller.
As a sidenote I was always able to unlock any dell laptop with the master code by simply asking dell and providing a reseller/refurbisher receipt.

Hi everyone
I noticed on the Xgpro software the BIOS backup files have extra bytes at the end when reading some chips, this is because the Xgpro software also reads the OTP region of those flash chips, and by default will append that region to the saved file
Programmer models: XGecu TL866II Plus / T48 / T56 / T76
Example: GD25LQ128D (1.8V), IC size is listed as 0x1000000 Bytes (16777216 bytes) + 0xC00 bytes, those extra 0xC00 bytes will be appended to the end of the saved file by default, resulting in a file size of 16780288 bytes

Hello everyone, I come here to tell you my problem regarding the power-on password. It is not a bios reset demand, and i can't have any access to windows. This is the bios and power-on password that is blocking all other things.
My Omen 15-dh0052nf purchased second-hand was configured with the bios password upon purchase (very simple password :P ).
Having decided to sell it in order to get something more powerful, I reset all BIOS settings and set a blank administrator password. But the power-on password cannot be changed to a blank one so I let the actual password set....
