Use RCUnlocker with your 16MB dump, leave the main dump (32MB) unmodified (original). At first boot reset bios settings to factory default, save/apply, then reset security settings and restart.

I don't have the old file to use RCUnlocker . I tried many files above, to that file is running fine without error but it shows up very slowly, sorry I didn't intentionally violate

I've lost my 16MB chip for the HP 840 G7 , I've tried many files from the internet and all have various problems , some restart once on every boot , some take forever to load Windows OS , some show endpoint security problems , how can I get a fresh clean dump for the 16MB bios chip , can I extract anything from the 31MB update file from HP bios update file???

I have an HP EliteBook 840 G7 here with a swat lock on it (and also a bios password that appeared with the swat lock). Can someone help me remove it?

I see in similar cases that the swat lock supposedly comes back when the machine is connected to the internet. Will whatever is being modified prevent a relock? Is there something that can be done to the bios file, or to bios settings, that will prevent it from relocking in the future? Some sort of patch or setting that can be applied or disabled?

Thanks in advance for any help offered!

Including the 32mb and 16mb dumps:

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

Notice to users of XGecu TL866II Plus / T48 / T56 / T76 programmers regarding BIOS backup file size

                                            Hi everyone
I noticed on the Xgpro software the BIOS backup files have extra bytes at the end when reading some chips, this is because the Xgpro software also reads the OTP region of those flash chips, and by default will append that region to the saved file
                                            Programmer models: XGecu TL866II Plus / T48 / T56 / T76

Example: GD25LQ128D (1.8V), IC size is listed as 0x1000000 Bytes (16777216 bytes) + 0xC00 bytes, those extra 0xC00 bytes will be appended to the end of the saved file by default, resulting in a file size of 16780288 bytes
There's also an extra OTP Secu.R...

Hello everyone, I come here to tell you my problem regarding the power-on password. It is not a bios reset demand, and i can't have any access to windows. This is the bios and power-on password that is blocking all other things.

My Omen 15-dh0052nf purchased second-hand was configured with the bios password upon purchase (very simple password :P ).

Having decided to sell it in order to get something more powerful, I reset all BIOS settings and set a blank administrator password. But the power-on password cannot be changed to a blank one so I let the actual password set....

                                            by overclocker1786
Hello I have a dell optiplex SFF plus 7020 with a password that I recovered from e-waste. It is possible to get the password removed via the bios patch method? I managed to dump the 32MB bios chips and would like help patching it to MFG mode so I can clear the password.

                                            Thanks.

A schematic would also be amazing if anyone has one!...
