So, where is the password stored then, on the other chip? Do you have datasheet of the other chip with pinouts?

I need to try the method here shared by RT809H developers on youtube

  • Re: ThinkPad T14 Supervisor password

Will have to look in the RT809H forums as there I see that even RT809 can write these EC or chips or what are these, otherwise I don't believe that just SVOD or Vertyanov can handle these chips and RT809H no.

But the worst thing is that the forums are in Chinese and I am not managing to even register on there, but I am just translating the sites with Google....

    Working magnificiently. Thanks so much.
As a token of appreciation for this university here at badcaps I made some donations, and I suggest also other users do the same.

I see many users just come here to learn something that when they learn it , they are so selfish, that they try to imprison that knowledge to keep that just for themselves.

The knowledge should be shared, as the universe rewards you when you do so....

    Hi,
I am on the same boat with you, did you find anything to read directly with RT809H and if not, did you tried to desolder that chip and program directly like we desolder the other Winbond BIOS chips and insert directly onto RT809H programmer, then returning it back after programming?

P.S. I have the same chips here on a Thinkpad t14 Gen1 MB

Yes , sorry, but I saw that my board doesn't fit in coolshrimps tutorial as it has MEC chips, but this board of mine has ITE chips and seems that it can be done via KBC connector only, and the R/W resistor which I am not knowing the position of that resistor.

Can you send JTAG pinouts please or can I use KBC connector? I have RT809H and want to try it...

My motherboard is this in picture, anybody know pinouts for JTAG or can I use KBC connector with RT809H?

Laptop model is T14 GEN1 with Ryzen processor

    Thanks...

  • Dell Latitude 5420 Bios Password ST suffix 0001

    Hello all
First of all, I am sorry if I could have posted on another thread, but I searched the whole forums and I didn't saw any other thread with this model suffix 0001.

As per title I have this DELL Latitude 5420 with Service Tag #2CMH7G3-0001 with password. Wanted to remove it but I really don't know if any of these chips should I read or another on the back side of the Motherboard.

These 2 possible chips are to be seen as soon as back cover is removed.

    Thanks...

    Hi bro ,
Can you tell me what is that Black cable staying above the PCB board near the GND writing? or it was just accidentally put there?

I have the same parts (received with RT809H) that I want to try with RT809H and KBC to remove the password from Lenovo Thinkpad T14 Gen1 model

Also can you tell us the position of the R/W resistor on this model of laptop?

    THanks...

  • Re: T14s - MEC-1663 - Jtag - Pinout - Bios Password Removal

Nice explanation and tutorial by coolshrimp regarding these Lenovo laptops. I have some ambiguities on how do I do this whole procedure with just Keyboard connector cable and with the least possible soldering (without JTAG). As I have the full set of RT809H when I bought it, I think I may not miss a single item because when I bought it I acquired the biggest set with over than 50 parts.

I saw RethoricalCheese used just the Keyboard connector to do the job, but I am not understanding the concept of Pull Up -...

    Re: HP 840 G7 password

Hello, can somebody tell me which one of these 2 chips should I read for BIOS password by RCunlocker?

I have read the 32MB chip without desoldering, but these 2 can not read without desoldering so I don't want to desolder both and then trying which one is exact

    Thanks in advance...

Can someone unlock this 32MB dump file for me? RCUnlocker displays an error with me or I am doing something wrong?

    Thanks in advance
