Alienware M14x R2 with 7 beeps error

Hi, I have an M14x R2 with 7 beeps error, when I boot it I get the 7 beeps and the speaker sounds like it doesn't have much power, only some of the keyboard lights light up, and change colours as well as dim each time a beep sounds, would there be some kind of power issue? Thanks

7 beeps mean CPU error.
try another CPU if it is not soldered on the board.
does it display any picture on the screen?

Thanks for your reply, I don't have another CPU to try but it is unlikely to be the CPU as 7 beeps also means another issue with the motherboard.

after turning on, measure voltage on PL502.

One thing I've missed is it is missing the LCD ribbon cable as the previous owner sent it to a repair shop and they must have broken it, it doesn't display via VGA nor HDMI, does it require the LCD to be connented to complete post, I've used other laptops without a display connected before via VGA.

It doesn't display via VGA nor HDMI, where is PL502 located?

if PL502 is not written on the board, probably I looked at a wrong schematics file.
please upload the schematics file of the motherboard, so we can help you.
or report the board ID.

this is the right schematics.
so after turning on, measure voltage on PL704.

it depends on your board.
you have to search all the board to find a coil labeled PL704.

Do I put the leads on each side and does it have polarity?

it depends on your board.
you have to search all the board to find a coil labeled PL704.

PL704 shows 0.9mV
PL705 shows 0.9mV
PL703 shows 0.9mV

so it does not have CPU_Vcore. thus, the CPU may be fine.
now measure voltage on other coils including PL202, PL303, PL403 , PL504 , PL604.
it takes time to reach a conclusion.

PL303 - 0.5mV
PL403 - 0.3mV
PL504 - 0V

that is strange. there should be some voltage.
now check voltage on pin8 of U48 and pins 95,104,107 of KB930 after turning on.
