ge5kn7710t021827v0012 (no information)
motherboard GE5KN6X V1.0
Laptop is an whitelabel model which mine (from Brazil) is labeled as an Avell G1556 MX, but it's other names vary as CYBERPOWER TRACER II and MECHREVO X7TI-S, all with the exact same motherboard model as described above.
there are no other relevant info written on the board or the laptop itself that can be searched to trace the laptop's model since it's rebranded. But the motherboard seems to be made by either TongFang or Uniwill, from what i found. dnzsrr's photos match mine perfectly.

Hello, i also have such board and need BIOS + EC for it.
These are the only other writings after the ones he sent already.
I'll be uploading the current flashed bios from both EC and Main shortly after.

Dell Alienware 17 R1 / M17X R5 / LA-9331P REV 1.0 - 7 beeps
I have this Alienware 17 laptop with the VAS00 LA-9331P REV 1.0 motherboard that does not turn on anything when power is plugged in and gives the 7 beep sequence, CPU / GPU does not heat up, i tried only with an I5 4200M (the laptop did not come with either the GPU or the CPU, but on the back says that it originally came with the Nvidia 860M and an 4710MQ).
While i do not know if there is any CPU blacklisting system on the motherboard, i tried reflashing the BIOS (at UH14) and the EC (at U2) accordingly but no changes either.
PCH doesn't seem to be shorted but i haven't done...

shorted cpu.
I desoldered the inductors and the resistance outside the CPU area got normal, CPU itself kept 1.2Ohm and when i injected voltage on the caps below, only a specific portion of the CPU would heat up....

I removed PU601 and UT3 but i still have a short on +VCCIN at 20ohm and VSSIN_SENSE is 4.4ohm while PU601 is absent.
Should it be that low or are there more components affected?
Also my +5V_ALW can't be measured (stays M at my multimeter) so i guess that one is ok....

just as i thought then, thank you very much nonetheless, i was afraid of desoldering UT3 and it not being the culprit since i do not have the tools yet to solder that kind of component back....

UPDATE: +20V_TBTA_VBUS_1 29Ohm
+20V_TBTB_VBUS_1 is 240K Ohm (not affected?)
EDIT: PD_VSYS at RT248's pin 2 (although not present) and UT3's pin 3 is 0Ohm is that how it should be?

+5V_ALW's resistance to GND now is 60Ohm after disabling PJP4 (and +5V_ALW_A_TBT reads 30Ohm), where to go from here?...

Removing PJP103 seems to kill the short on PL101's side. PL101's resistance to ground goes up to 204 K Ohms.

UI1's pin 12 gives some mega ohms that my multimeter cannot read and stays 0.L with a M at the top
UI3's pin 1 reads the same as UI1's pin 12
also no, i do not have a thermal camera, had checked PU102 with isopropyl alcohol method

Update: Tested proper ME cleaned BIOS with the laptop's ST on it and no change in symptom.
PU102 heats up as soon as DC is connected to the laptop too. but i do not know if that should be normal on this model.

Dell Latitude 5420 / GDF40 LA-K491P REV 3.0 / Amber / Orange light when power button is pressed
I have this Dell Latitude 5420 with ST: CMF62F3, board GDF40 LA-K491P REV 3.0 that does not power on, i already searched for some clues about this problem that happens on mine but no BIOS i downloaded and flashed did anything.
Only when the power brick is connected, when pressing the power button an amber light lights up at the front and slight decreases its brightness, the RAM and the CPU seem to heat up if the laptop is left connected but nothing else, other than USB devices getting powered.
Here is the original BIOS dump from the 25R256JVEN chip.

Asrock VisionX 420D - HM87-MXM REV. G/A 1.03 - Not turning on (keeps trying)
I got this Asrock mini PC together with a working 321B model of the same type (except its hm77 and the board differs on some parts) which when trying to turn on, the power LED keeps flashing and nothing else happens.
CPU doesn't seem to get any voltage whatsoever but there are 2 symptoms that i couldn't go further since there is absolutely NO info about this machine or even the other one.
First one is that my 321B does a little pop sound when connecting the power supply (which is normal) but this one doesn't. Second one is that without it's MXM GPU connected (and only the CPU...

Could you recommend me a good / the right device for using the debug port?
Would this one work for that? (seems like it works on the RAM slot instead of using the dedicated port....1 Photo
