Turning the monitor on/off shows the image for a second then goes to black. I can read the screen using a flashlight.
It looks like the inverter board has a few domed caps so my assumption at this point is that is the cause (see images).

Performing a search I found a few sources in Asia for the 490891400101R board for $20 including shipping.

Most of the forum posts here recommend replacing the caps with quality ones. Any updated opinions on which way to go? If it's replacing the caps then what is the best source and which do I need?
