MSI GS66 Stealth 11ue-007us Board Number MS-16V41 VER.1 Screen Connector

Hey guys I've got a MSI GS66 Stealth 11ue-007us Board Number MS-16V41 VER.1 with a broken screen connector on the motherboard.I was wondering how I would go about finding a exact replacement for it.I can't seem to find any schematics that would help me so I'm kinda stumped.I did buy a screen connector that I thought was close enough but it doesn't really invoke much confidence in me that it works perfectly as plugging the screen into sometimes does output a "glitchy" image for just a few seconds. So now I'm kinda in a cross road where I'm pretty sure it could be a faulty screen but I rather rule out a much cheaper option like the screen connector. The following video is the broken original connector This one is of the screen flickeringhttps://www.youtube.com/shorts/mTsbpGlpr-A

I would've said faulty screen would be the most likely.

As far as the connector goes, parametric search at Digikey can point you in the right direction. Not sure what the point of the video was, but it doesn't help too much. I can at least see its a front flip right angle surface mount FFC.

You add number of pins, pin pitch, top/bottom/both contact pins, cable end type (straight, notched, tabbed) into the parametric search and see what matches.

Yea I'm thinking its probably a faulty screen but just wanted to try and be safe in ruling out little things like the screen connector. In the image attached I ended up buying a screen connector prior the making this post and trying that out which is the connector that's giving me the "glitchy" image. The only difference to the original connector that I see is that the locking tab folds backwards not to the front but I doubt that would cause any issues like this.
