Hello guys. I have a legion 5 17ach6h with Ryzen 7 5600h and RTX3060.
It was working perfectly fine but the cpu was overheating so i decided to replace thermal paste. I bought one from local hardware store and replcaed. it looked fine then the fan started to spin at the full speed after about 1 minute and then immediately shut off after 10 seconds. Then I though if i have done something wrong, so i cleaned up everything with IPA and put new thermal paste. but the issue was still there. Hi. I'm using a Lenovo Legion 5 NM-D562 15ACH6H with ryzen 7 5800H that suffered a heavy impact at the back where the USB ports are. Initially, it didn't boot — just a black screen. I reballed the CPU, and it came back to life. Everything seems to be working fine, except the camera. It is not detected in Device Manager at all. I tried a previous BIOS version, checked the ribbon cable and resistors on the PCB. The camera receives 3.3V, and I can't find the reason why it wouldn't work. Hey guys, i'm curently trying to repair the laptop of my uncle, here is the deal, when plugged : a short press will do nothing, but a long one does (2-3s),--> keyboard turns on for 5 secs after de click then turns off, -->Power button led stays yellowish and nothing on the screen and for the fans, it depends but most of the time, no fans.
So i'm guessing a bios fault but i'm not sure, haven't check the voltages yet.
Also when plugged : Orange led on the charging port and Legion logo on as well. (even after overnight recharge)

No reaction for power button, Adpater etc. Diagnosis: burned HIS mostfet from VRAMs. After replacing the mosfet, Laptop starts to power up, KB lights up for few second and switch off, laptop remain ON but no display. my bios has been corrupted and i am in need of fix.
i used CH341a programmer to read the contents and followed the steps in YouTube to build bios.bin
while doing so in one of the step in UEFI tool - bios region, i found its empty i.e (half 00 and rest FF)

can you help me fixing my laptop bios ? my laptop model is Legion 7-15IMHg05 (Lenovo) - Type 81YU (RTX2080 Super model) and last known bios (E9CN66WW)

Hi all,

I have a Lenovo Legion 5 with a Ryzen 7 series CPU and RTX 3070 GPU. My issue is that it turns on and all seems fine except after a few seconds the fans spin up high and the laptop turns off after 34 seconds.
I can get into bios and can even boot and login to Windows however after 34 seconds no matter if Im at the bios screen or booted into Windows it will just turn off.

I have managed to run HWmonitor and the temperatures of the CPU and GPU are fine, I can also touch the heatsync which is warm but not hot.

I have tried a few new bios but exactly...
