I'm really curious as to whether Nichicon will still make custom orders of HZ as long as it meets their MOQ.

BTW, can you test the 16v 3300uF with your ESR meter and see if they meet spec (Not that I doubt it)?

I can, but it will be worthless, it will definitelly show ESR 0

EDIT// so it shows 0,02 ohm ESR (Samxons are 0,03-00,04) and capaity from 3550 to 3720 uF.

Good. 0.018 was too low for my liking. If these are in PI filters, I like them to be between 0.025 and 0.40 because the other caps usually fall between this range.

Now all we need are 6.3V 4700uF in 10mm for those Teapo SC.

Well, I do owe you 50 of them still right? I think that I have mistakenly packed only 50 pcs…next time I'll have other interesting stuff I can send them with

Testing ATX PSUs under load - Does loading the ATX 24 pin also load EPS & PCIE?
                    by AJ847.63e
                    Hi Folks,

Just wanted to clear up a misunderstanding of mine (or what I expect is one). Isn't the 12V rail from the 24 pin, EPS and PCIE separated? IE if I put a power resistor on the ATX 12V pin that is not going to load, thus tell me if the EPS or PCIE rails are fine?

I was recently watching ArIs from Hardware Busters video on how to properly test ATX PSUs without using 5 figure Croma substations.

The PCB adapter he used breaks out the 12, 5 and 3.3V pins from the 24 pin and gives you banana plugs to connect to. That is a bit useless is it not? Aren't...

                    Hey Everyone,

Long time lurker, but I think this is my first time posting.

Just looking for some assistance on identifying some suitable replacement capacitors for an MSI K7T266 Pro (Ver. 1.0). I just got my hands on two of them actually, both working but one has some visibly bulging capacitors and the other has a few that I can't tell for sure if they're bulging because it's faint at best if they are.

I'll be honest I don't fully understand much on capacitor spec sheets beyond voltage and capacitance but I can solder like nobodies business so I've...

Suitable replacement IC? .PCB - X_BFJSFANRE_RLED_V4

                    Hello,

I am not sure where exactly to put this thread, so hopefully this is the best place.

I have a USB fan that has suddenly been unable to increase its speed. It's just stuck on the first speed. This fan has 3 speed settings. Each time you press the power button, the speed of the fan should increase.

The way the button works with each press is: Speed 1 > Speed 2 > Speed 3 > OFF

Speed 2 and 3 don't currently work any more.

I suspect the issue might be with what looks to be some kind of driver IC. It is a 16-pin...

                    2700uF instead of 3300uF
                    by Satdude
Hey guys, I have a question. I need to replace the caps on my og Xbox motherboard, but I can't buy quality capacitors in my country with this specification (everything is either out of stock, with a minimum order of 1000 or just plain too big to fit in the Xbox). Can I replace the 5 3300uF caps with 5 Panasonic 2700uF caps? Thanks
