Re: Panasonic tx47as650b no reaction to remote.
VCC and GND =3.2v unchanged when remote button pressed.
OUT and GND =0V also unchanged.
Does this mean IR module is bad.?

Re: Panasonic tx47as650b no reaction to remote.
1) Check the DC V between VCC and GND.
2) Check the DCV between OUT and GND to see if it varies when you send the remote signal from the remote control, you should at least see the Voltage changes when you activate the remote control.
BTW, is there an IR Input port on the back of the TV?
I dont see an IR port on the tv .
Would the USB port work for this.?
Checking those voltages now.Leave a comment:

I dont have the exact remote for the exact model no.
I do have 2 genuine Panasonic remotes and no buttons work for any type of input.Leave a comment:

Re: Panasonic tx47as650b no reaction to remote.
Thnx guys,
I have taken some voltages at the connector. Standby and full power on respectively
I have numbered the pins .
pin 7=0v/1.9v
pin 6=1.8v/0v
pin 5=3.2v/3.2v
pin 4=0v/3.1v
pin 3=0v/3.2v
pin 2=0v/0v
pin 1=3.2v/3.2vLeave a comment:

not sure if another model reference info provides any clues but maybe this portion might.Leave a comment:

Re: Panasonic tx47as650b no reaction to remote.
Did you try a universal remote, I know I have several samsung remotes and seems like not 2 of them will work every function of a different model, unless you mean you have the exact remote for that exact model tv.Leave a comment:

Did you try working the tv with the button board, the one with volume up down etc. on the tv itself if equipped?Leave a comment:

Re: Panasonic tx47as650b no reaction to remote.
You have a few 0 ohm resistors that could be checked out. VCC is printed on the board so there must be a test point there.Leave a comment:

Hi, the tv doesnt seem to acknowledge any input based on any change in the led or slight dimming of the light.Leave a comment:

Re: Panasonic tx47as650b no reaction to remote.
Really appreciate the responses.
Ok,
I got the tv without the remote and had no idea if this function worked before.
I cant see any bent pins.I actually didnt even touch this connector when I fixed the backlights.
I dont know how to remove the board from this case.Anyone knows?
I have attached pics of the front but have no access to the rear.
I have not tested voltages. This actually the first time I have ever come accross this issue.Leave a comment:

Re: Panasonic tx47as650b no reaction to remote.
1) So was the remote function work before fixing the backlights issue?
2) No bent pins and connectors are put back in place properly?
3) What Voltage testing have you done on the remote receiver board?
4) Can we see straight shots pictures of both sides the remote receiver board?Leave a comment:

Re: Panasonic tx47as650b no reaction to remote.
if you see it with a camera its working . does the tv acknowledge you pressing remote ? not sure if it should flash or not though .
am wondering of you didn't plug the wires in properly or one broke maybe .Leave a comment:

Id be surprised if two genuine remotes would be at fault?Leave a comment:

Re: Panasonic tx47as650b no reaction to remote.
Hi
thnx for replying,
I have tested the tv with two different genuine panasonic remotes.
I actually have only tested by observing the ir light through a camera lens.
Brand new batteries have been put into both remotes.
I currently dont have another panasonic to test them with but theyre almost new.
Is this a relatively rare problem.?Leave a comment:

by CapLeakerGot a new victim:
AcuRite 5 in 1 Iris outdoor weather station not updating the temperature / humidity anymore. The original sensor is a SHT21. Also there are identical other sensor manufacturers. I chose the HTU21D to replace the original SHT21. Both have identical specs. I've had two failure modes with these sensors.
A: outside temp stuck at -40?It's cold here at times in Canada, but not that cold!
B: stuck at some temperature and maybe updating once in 12 hrs or so.
Easy solution is to go to AcuRite website and purchase the sensor. Right?...

I have a Panasonic TX-48CX350B tv , it powers up ok but the screen is blank, the backlights are working, there’s nothing else though, no picture or sound. I’m not sure what the fault is called whether it’s BLANK/ BLACK/ or WHITE SCREEN I’ve actually came across this before on a similar tv but just ended up scrapping it, I will upload pictures of the boards etc , if anyone could help me I would really appreciate it...01-11-2025, 03:18 PM -
by JackchingDoes anyone know if there is a repair for the remote sensors for these televisions? It only seems to work when it wants to. I tried a different remote and also tried factory resetting the TV. I find if i go close to the sensor that it'll work but outside 2 feet it wont.

by VaporGameI recently pulled out my tv from the attic that I remember bricking as a child with the service menu. I remember at the time it came on but didn't react to anything. I have tried a factory reset from the remote and a EEPROM reset but neither worked. I get no led light.
Here are the things i already tried and did:- Checked the power supply (There was a burnt transistor but looking online its a common issue and its not crucial for the tv to run)
- confirmed the power supply outputs the correct voltages
- many remote button combinations
- confirmed the backlight works (lights up when motherboard

by groomitHi,
I just replaced the battery on a Google Pixel 5.
After that the proximity sensor isn't functioning properly any more. It is constantly activated. So when playing a voice message on Whatsapp, the Screen instantly turns off.
Checking with a sensor app I can verify weird behavior of the sensor. It is triggered when nothing is near and sometimes works correctly when squeezing the phone next to the sensor hole.
The rubber seal is on again (as mentioned in various suggestions in other forums).
This smells like a cold or broken solder joint. So I'd like to reflow... - Loading...
