Does anyone know if there is a repair for the remote sensors for these televisions? It only seems to work when it wants to. I tried a different remote and also tried factory resetting the TV. I find if i go close to the sensor that it'll work but outside 2 feet it wont.

when it work in close distances.. then check yours room environments and yours RC
take mobile with IR sender such galaxy S5 , and use Galaxy Universal Remote apk... you will know yours TV received the signal from far distances -

If you have tried to different remote controls then looks like the receiver part of your TV for receiving the infra red signals is faulty. Make sure it it orientated and pointing outwards and not down or to one side. I have seen water get in these before with kids mucking about ( I guess).Comment
