UE40D5000 no display or reaction to either remote or touch

I recently pulled out my tv from the attic that I remember bricking as a child with the service menu. I remember at the time it came on but didn't react to anything. I have tried a factory reset from the remote and a EEPROM reset but neither worked. I get no led light.
Here are the things i already tried and did:
    • Checked the power supply (There was a burnt transistor but looking online its a common issue and its not crucial for the tv to run)
    • confirmed the power supply outputs the correct voltages
    • many remote button combinations
    • confirmed the backlight works (lights up when motherboard is disconnected from the power supply)
    • checked the fuse on the t con
    • disconnecting 1 ribbon at a time from the t con to see if i get half a picture (didn't work)
    The full model is UE40D5000PWXXH
the power supply is a PD46G0_BDY REV 1.0
    the mainboard is a BN41-01747
I'm not sure where to read the proper model of the tcon but it has this on it: CPWDB RUNTK DUNTK 4818TP

I'm sorry if i missed any important info.

Are you saying that you got into service menu but did not change anything back then?

No, I remember I used an option something like "bluetooth upgrade" or something I don't remember it well but after that the TV would not react to anything. Still had a red led though.

Can you get back into service menu?

No, as I stated in the post the TV does not respond to remote or touch, or shows any signs of life when plugged in. The only thing that changes when plugging it in is i can hear a quite whine presumably from the power supply.

No, you entered “MICOM UPGRATE” and clicked “Ok” and thereby deleted the firmware in micom and turned the TV into a brick, now only flashing the Weltrend WT61P805 microcontroller will save your TV.

I don't have compressed air or anything that will cool it like that on hand, I'll try some frozen veggies though.

Or you can just replace the mainboard.

All you need is a programmer (RT809F, RT809H,...) that supports this chip. You can reprogram it via the VGA port (scl, sck, gnd.)

I unfortunately don't own any programmers. Is it possible to use a microcontroller like a arduino or similar or maybe a computer with a serial port? or should i just get a flasher?

Some there, when buying a mainboard you want to match up the numbers on the white sticker of the mainboards, you can't just go by the silkscreen numbers printed on the board: https://www.aliexpress.com/w/wholesa...therboard.html

I don't wanna spend a lot of money on this TV since I just wanted to fix it since it might come in handy one day for something.
For the prices of the mainboards I could just get a professional to do it for me not that far away from where i live.

I have sat like that freezing the chip and my fingers off for a good 5 minutes but it didn't help.

Samsung never use MICOM patent... just for correction.

It won't help, it won't restore the firmware in the controller....

If anything, here is the original controller firmware for your board.
