I assume those digits that flash up on the screen at boot is the service tag?
I managed to capture it but when I enter what I am pretty sure it is I get invalid service tag entered"

Can someone help me with a clean file?
I dont get though why this file is so small.
Chip is Winbond 25R256JVEN. SHould this not be 32mb or so?
It has been verified and read twice .
It was read however on the board with insulated wires soldered to the programmer

Can someone help me pinpoint the possibly corrupted chip here that needs to be reprogrammed?
Based on my research, this is the cause of these symptoms??
Samsung smart logo appears on power on.Stays visible for one second then only backlight glow remains. Until tv powers off by itself in five mins there is no response to the remote or tv buttons.Tv goes off and stays off until it is turned on again.

Tv is now workng after heating the fusion chip with 250 setting on hot air machine for 2 mins..
chip gets warm as no heatsink attached so I will now add another layer of copper to the heatsink and replace and test to see if stable. Geez this board has a lot of flex..No wonder this is a common issue.Leave a comment:

Hi yes,,I DID test out of circuit and 100% the diode beeped in both directions with a reading 003.4 on the meter.
I did this a few times to confirm.
Then a few days later I tested the diode location and got exactly the same reding..However...when I retested the diode prior to resoldering to the board to take othr voltages it then showed OL in both directions. I dont get it.I definetely tested it not once but maybe 10 times initially.Leave a comment:
