    Sharp LC-60LE741E 3 Blinks

    Hi Guys
Just bought cheap this Sharp LC-60LE741E, seller said can not get it out of standby
Got it home plugged it in and it powered up, however after maybe 2 minutes it powered off itself and has not come back on since.
When powering on white led at bottom centre comes on steady for about two minutes (nothing on screen) then goes off, White led then comes back on flashing three times
I can not find what this flashing code is, all I am finding is 1 quick flash then 2 short flashes, Mine is 3 flashes all same length
Did find a reset involving think it was volume down and input held whils plugging in but that had no effect
Only thing I have checked up to now is for 5V standby on powerboard which is there.
My first thought is powerboard but maybe it is the mainboard
When tv did first power up picture seemed good for the short time it was on
Any ideas please as to what these 3 flashes are telling me
    thanks

Try it while holding input and channel down, see if that works.

I am struggling at the moment to check powerboard Vs, but looks like I have no 12v at pins 1 and 2 on PD

Do you have backlights? If not (with tv unplugged) unplug cable from powerboard to mainboard, plug tv back in, see if they come on.

No backlights come on with powerboard to mainboard cable unplugged
Does not a BL on signal from mainboard to powerboard tell the powerboard to turn on the backlights, or am I wrong

I have been trying to follow a youtube video SHARP AQUOS TV "LC-60LE650U" flashes 3 slow, 1 fast. No back light or sound. Here's the fix. by Ray S
On checking my regulator, mine is a slightly different board I also have no 12v coming out from the regulator, this 12v seems to go to pins 1 and 2 on the PD connector but I also have no turn on volts at the regulator.
Am I on the wrong track here ??

You need to report what Voltages you have on the power supply connector that goes to the main board so we can see what it has or does not have when TV is off and when power switch is activated, that will be the starting point.

BTW, what is the board P/N as printed on the board and on the bar code stickers?
You can probe the connector from the wire entrance side using skinny probe tip.

So something is going on with the main board or something is locking out that causes it not to send out some of the command signals.

This is quite high, it should be around 380 ~ to 400V at the most.
                                  Meter is OK?

As indicated in my post #16; The STB pin is BL-ON.
BU5V pins are the standby power supply pins.
