UN60F7100AFXZA issue standby blinks 5x never turns on

I have a Samsung UN60F7100AFXZA it is just clicking and not turning on fully, the standby light blinks 5 times then the power relay clicks and starts the whole process over. I get steady 5VDC on pin 22(I believe to be the stby) on the cable that connects the logic board. the other pins match the board markings when I try to turn the tv on. the power relay carries 5V when closed on the small legs, the capacitors appear ok and read at or above rated capacitance except for the one circled on power board image, which will show as a short then 70microF. Not sure what the capacitor is cannot find any ratings on it.

Would appreciate any tips for narrowing down my problem with this tv

these are the boards in my TV

Make sure your backlights are working before suspecting boards. On Samsungs, first test is to unplug the cable between the main board and power supply to see if the backlights come on. If they don't, then confirm the LED backlights are all working (easier with a LED tester).

Re: UN60F7100AFXZA issue standby blinks 5x never turns on

          TV model : UN60F7100AFXZA

          POWER Supply Board: BNN-00630A

from what I can see pin 22 A5V it is the only pin that is carrying voltage before I try and turn the TV on
          https://photos.app.goo.gl/YGGSigaaSP3aKiJr8

Standby pin 22 holds 5.34 V steady throughout

PS-ON PIN 24 is 0.26V in standby mode
          PS-ON PIN 24 3.3V when relay closes,
PS-ON PIN 24 0.26V when relay clicks back out

What would you suggest to look at why the main board is not sending continous power to PS-on

Re: UN60F7100AFXZA issue standby blinks 5x never turns on

I went back over the power supply board this morning, and disconnected it from the main board and plugged the led cables back up and the lamps power up when plugged in. also when the main board is unplugged all the pin outs show the voltages they call for on the board,

            1. 12.6
            2. 12.6
            3. 12.6
            4. 3.1
            5. 1.35
            6. 3.1
            7. 1.35
            8. 3.1
            9. 0
            10. 3.1
            11. 12.6
            12. 3.1
            13. 12.6
            14. 12.6
            15. 12.6
            16. 3.1
            17. 12.6
            18. 0
            19. 0
            20. 0
            21. 5.35
            22. 5.35
            23. 5.35
            24. 3.35

But when I connect the main board back up the only voltage I still get is pin 22 @ 5.35vdc. is there any point in troubleshooting the main board or would any of the parts be replaceable?

Test connector from mainboard to powerboard on powerboard side with all boards hooked up, test with tv plugged in but off then hit power, report both conditions here, give pin number, pin description and condition on and off, pay attention to, looks like pin 15 BLU-ON. looks like the mainboard isn't sending that signal so your getting no backlights, do you see menu or anything on screen with a flashlight when hitting menu? 2 threads on same tv makes things confusing that's why it's frowned on.

I have attached voltages I got from the main board side connector with all boards connected and TV plugged in then also while the power would cycle. I do not see anything on the screen when the power is cycling even with flashlight

From the looks of your chart it looks like the mainboard isn't sending the blu-on signal to turn on the backlights.

would there be any parts to check on the main board for replacement or easier to just get a replacement. and would not having that signal keep the power relay cycling?

I'd replace the mainboard myself, suppose it could be something simple but I usually don't have the patience or in depth knowledge to fix the mainboard. Other than simple eeprom replacement which I don't think is your problem, yours could be micro controller issue??

Could try heating mainboard with hairdryer, small section at a time be sure n heat the capacitors on mainboard too and see if there's any change.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

I am trying to fix a samsung washinmachine power supply main board.
I already replaced it with another one to fix the machine but i want to try understand the issue with the old board.
Therefore i hope to be able to get some help to explain what to check in order to troubleshoot.

Does anyone have an idea of what might be the issue with my 3050 micro? I have tried replacing new cmos battery but still the same

I am not sure if its the powersupply that I'm using is the issue since its the original powersupply. its a laptop powersupply with the same specifications with the 3050 micro so i guess it should be fine.

i also tried replacing the bios but with no avail, everytime i try another bios it gives a different blinking lights

Any recommendation on what I have to do next? Thanks in advance
