As stated, when you power it on, everything works as should, but picture is faded white, then after a couple minutes it works fine, then goes back to faded instantly.. its pretty much instant change back and forth after a couple minutes.. ive narrowed it down to either Tcon or the FRC.. which should I order? ive tested all voltages and they are in spec, but don't have any information on testing the FRC or TCON voltages or outputs.. I don't have a scope.. -
Splitting micro usb to power 2 devices..
Im trying to use a windows 10 tablet and xbox 360 kinect. im using their development software to write a new program. I need to power both but need the data lines can I just add a 5v source to the power wires and leave the rest?Last edited by Brucetafer; 10-19-2019, 08:30 PM. -

Ok Ive pulled the panel, verified ALL leds are perfect, the the diffuser was kinda weird, so it may have shifted when hung up or moved.. Ill post up if anything changes..Leave a comment:

OK, I just dealt with this myself the SONY 3 blink power supply IMMEDIATELY goes into safe mode when the main board is bad. I think he's having issues exactly the same reason I did. the big click then click and 3 blinks, its sending the power supply into safe mode and shutting it down.. when you unplug the power supply from the main board it does NOT turn on anything like most boards.. I was going crazy over this for almost a week..Leave a comment:

Ok, theres a driver board, with 4 sets of LEDS. one per corner, and they all match output wise, and manually tested them and they all look good..
is there a diffuser that maybe broke or fell when I took it down? or do you know what the output voltages are supposed to be on this unit? im getting 52.2 volts per group and 6.65-6.85 on the test points.
Id hate to take the screen off and ruin this gorgeous TV....Leave a comment:

the TCON board was bad in this unit and was super white and faded out badly, So i changed it with another "known working" on eBay, and it works perfect for a couple seconds then fades out, and then resets itself as you can see in the pictures.. all the voltages on the power supply are pefect, LEDS are drawing the correct current and all the menu, sound, inputs work fine.... -

100% correct, I bought a brand new power supply and another board from a 60-850 and uploaded the correct firmware and works, but now the problem is the middle of the screen is dark (see picture) and no idea what could have caused that.....Leave a comment:

No luck at all, board is locked up. Im going to try and pull the 2 big caps and test them and see.. and try to see if there's any blown resistors or caps on the board.. its 100% the main board unfortunately.. 100 bucks on eBay, unless someone else has a hookup..Leave a comment:
