Your mb is at fault still, you need to heat it up and see if it shuts off faster.

spent far too much time now warming boards and components nothing seems to make it shut down, just seems to do it when it feels like it sometimes 10 - 15 mins sometimes 30 -45 mins between shut downs. I have noticed though it seems to start back up pretty quick certainly a lot quicker than a normal power up from switched off.
Is it possible I have installed the wrong core update, or would it just not start with wrong update.
May try and source a used mainboard and put that inComment

Did you download the Vestel Driver 17mb82-2 ? Also got image of the menu system ? think update i got off vesteldriver.com was 17mb80*** awkward as all in turkish, I think it is still a software fault on this tv

Yes that is the link that i used to download from MB82 V.0.84
just powered up the tv again to take pics of menu, while taking them tv switched off about 6 times different colours on screen each time red, green, pink etc

Thats really odd, at this point Im unsure whats causing it to crash like this mate with out having it in front of me
Will have a check on the web and let you know if I find anything got to be firmware related unless you missed something obvious. I presume you left the Usb in till the set came back on too ?

yes that whats bothers me with customers sets too be honest if it was my own i would try the repair, the last 40 in set i repaired i used some think lining wallaper and slid it slowly under the lcd glass then gripped both sides of the lining paper and lifted the lcd up (so acted like a support i guess) it worked ok plus no finger prints on lcd/diffusers.I do find putting the plastic lcd surround back on the hardest thats how i cracked one.Comment

I have a Dell E5470 that powers up and boots windows no problem. Using a non-standard universal type charger, it shuts down immediately if moved, (power short in that charger or AC power jack) because the battery has no charge and isn't charging orange/white lights blinking on the front. When first powered up, BIOS power alarm stated that it could not detect the voltage setting and I had to dis-able the message to get past this. It got into Windows fine, as long as not moved, so I dis-assembled it looking for a cold solder joint on the power jack that I thought might be lifting off the MB, but... -
Hi guys have an issue with a friends labtop that has no signs of liquid damage.They said it just stopped turning on.When i press the power button it turns on normally like 35-500millamp draw and it posts and i have picture. But like after 4 seconds after it posts an image it shuts off completely.If i press power button again same thing happens. Did all basic troubleshooting with the motherboard like fresh thermal paste with it completely out the chasis with battery disconnected. Thermal camera shows these two mosfets heating up more than anything else when i press the power button.I have provided... -
I've got a Dell Latitude 5580 which came in for no power. It's not exactly a no power issue though. The battery was puffy so I replaced that, but the symptom is that when the power button is depressed, the keyboard backlights will come on for about 10 seconds then go back off. Before depressing power button, I am drawing 112ma and oddly, there is no change in current draw once the button is pressed and the keyboard backlights illuminate.
Any ideas? -

SO i turn the laptop on , and as soon as it starts booting from disk, from usb, windows,linux,HBCD,anything i boot it just turns off....while in bios menu or in linux boot menu it stays on normally...It's like when it starts to use graphics it shuts down...But i measured 0.72V while working on the GPU power line,no excess heat is comming from GPU or CPU, i even removed the heatsink and turned the laptop on and everything worked fine, got a bit hot, fan span to full speed, but it worked like that for few minutes in bios...10-29-2024, 12:05 AM -

Intro:
This is an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55-55M1 with unknown prior history (bought "as-is" on eBay). It charges the battery and powers on from both AC adapter and battery, so I think this rules out main power issues.
Upon attempt to boot, it will "reboot" (meaning powers down and then powers on again) only once, and then stays stuck in a status of lights on / no post / no monitor. Powering on with fn+esc maxes out the fans on first boot attempt,...
