I would be suspicious of C296 a 1uF 50V smd capacitor? London-Freddie does your meter have a capacitance checker so you can test it?Willing to help but I'm no expert.Comment

@reece, do you have any of the Vestel board that uses the 6300 IC that may be you can try taking some resistance measurement on?Never stop learning

He can try removing that MLCC cap which is in parallel the Lytics cap for filtering the Voltage on the VDD pin and see.Never stop learning

Re: Dead Vestel 17IPS71 power board
Just checking some that I have on hand now.
17IPS19 uses Fan 6724
17IPS11 uses Fan 6724
17IPS20 uses Fan 6724 on both switching transistors.
So will get the IPS71 out tomorrow and get a look. Hopefully it uses the same chip as all Vestels differentiate in the design. Please Do Not PM My Page Asking For Help Badcaps Is The Place For Advise, Page Linked For Business Reasons Only. Anyone Doing So Will Be Banned Instantly !

Re: Dead Vestel 17IPS71 power board
Just to be sure, So the resistance between the HV pin and GND pin is (OP was reading about 70K Ohms)? VDD pin and GND pin is (Op was reading about 2K Ohms)?Never stop learning

I have a hard time finding c262 in the diagram.
But from the readings Reece provided, it does look like bad IC at this point.Never stop learning

Re: Dead Vestel 17IPS71 power board
It might be hard Bud as they change the design every board. But yeah im thinking the Ic is bad, strange as normally when these Ic's fail in Vestels they blow up.Please Do Not PM My Page Asking For Help Badcaps Is The Place For Advise, Page Linked For Business Reasons Only. Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by k370Hi everyone,
I have a NM-A321 board that is dead, with no power at all.
When I received the laptop, the +5VPMIC line was shorted. Removing the PU3 (ISL95905) solved the short, so I ordered and replaced the ISL.
With the new ISL, the short is gone, but still no voltages at all. I measured the following rails:- +3VALW
- +5VAUX
- 1.2VSUS_PWRGD
- 3VALW_PGD
- 1.05VAUX_PWRGD
Additionally, the ISL95906 (PU3) is not getting any voltage on the VIN rail.
The only place on the board where I find any voltage is on the first MOSFETs, specifically:... -

by Dani_2024Hi and thanks in advance for any input you might provide!

Last Sunday I was watching a dvd and fell asleep for about half hour, when I awoke the tv screen was black and couldn't get the dvd menu to show, so I changed the input to antenna and had sound but no picture, turned it off. by corrizeHello, the DSLR has heavyly fallen. It is dead : no sign of life and display nothing.
When it worked, it always displayed a card present state on LCD display, even when the battery is empty it display a empty battery symbol.
I found a dead fuse, I replaced it and a mosfet burnt, I changed it and another fuse burned. Nothing burned after. And I can't find any short circuit anywhere, it's weird.
Now, I try to understand how it works.
There is two boards (the little one on pictures has no component) : the first is a « power board » : managing... - Loading...
