ASUS ZenBook Flip S UX370UAF

Hi,
I have an [B]ASUS ZenBook Flip S UX370UAF[/B] and want to [B]flash[/B] a BIOS to bring it back from the dead.

My motherboard is:
[B]UX370UAF REV: 1.1[/B]

CPU: [B]Intel i7 7th Gen[/B]

I'm leaving my BIOS backup here.
The IC was a [B]Winbond 25Q64J[/B].

i also leave were the 310 file from asus website for my model

I've already found BIOS files on some sites, but they are all paid. Hi,

I've solved this... hurray!

It was the BIOS; I used the dump from this link, and now everything works marvelously!

Hi,
After looking with more attention, I found the schematics, and the actual model of my board is S400CA rev 3.1.

The MOSFET I changed seemed like it was shorted, but it wasn't. The issue was with PQ8802, and the original MOSFET reference is (P0903BEA).

The charging IC on my board is [B]BQ24725ARGRR[/B], and the ACDET pin shows 2.60V, whether the laptop is in a cold state (when it turns on) or a hot state (when it doesn't turn on).

I've measured all the MOSFETs present on the board, as well as a good amount of capacitors, and everything seems fine....

Hi,

I have something I've never seen before.

I've received an Asus laptop that had a short in the DC input. I found that the second MOSFET in the DC input line was heating up, so I replaced it, and now the laptop works. Great, isn't it?

Now, for the odd part: the mosfet replaced wasn't measuring as short or having low impedance on the board either before or after I replaced it. It was an "A5 GND" mosfet, which I swapped for something I had in stock—some N-type 30V MOSFET.

es, you're right, taking measurements instead of relying on assumptions is always better.

Thank you for the tip.

I already injected voltage into the battery terminals and got 5V, 3.3V, and the battery LED blinking when the power button is pressed, indicating a low battery, but it still won't power on.

Based on this test, I'm inclined to order and replace the PU4 (BQ24770).

What do you think? Should I measure something else?

Hi everyone,

I have a NM-A321 board that is dead, with no power at all.

When I received the laptop, the +5VPMIC line was shorted. Removing the PU3 (ISL95905) solved the short, so I ordered and replaced the ISL.

With the new ISL, the short is gone, but still no voltages at all. I measured the following rails:[LIST][*]+3VALW[*]+5VAUX[*]1.2VSUS_PWRGD[*]3VALW_PGD[*]1.05VAUX_PWRGD[/LIST]
Additionally, the ISL95906 (PU3) is not getting any voltage on the VIN rail.

The only place on the board where I find any voltage is on the first MOSFETs, specifically:[LIST][*]PQ5[*]PQ6[*]PQ15[*]PQ16[/LIST]...

I have tested rams .
only the board and wower butoin
flach bios and ec whid dump from vinafix
3.3v 5v is there
no shorts on coils .....

I have crossed varius laptos that do not power up
if i short de dc_in mosfet they work but never charge batery.
