Re: Luxor LUX-22-822-COB stuck in standby

If the standby 5V and the 14.5V are steady (these two Voltages are present the minute the TV is plugged into the outlet, they are generated by the same transformer) then it has to be the control signal or those switches are not working properly, I have yet to get the answer as to those two STBY Voltages are steady or not.

That is strange because the 14.5V power supply is also an always on power supply and it is generated by the same transformer for the +5VDC.
May I ask what test point you use to test the 14.5V? At the Fuse F101?
BTW, Can I get straight shot pictures of the top and bottom sides of the board?
I am beginning to wonder if the diagram I use for the reference matched your board.

I think it may be the same if not very similar to the 17IPS17-2 pdf. I see there is a fuse on the underside F101.

I see the F101 SMD with '0' printed on top, at about 1 o'clock of the blue stand off. Page 2 top left of the SCH.

That makes no sense since it is just the simple rectifier diodes and filter caps and choke.
Check the connection paths from the Transformer leg to the diodes, choke, etc.

If IC804 is down then you lose the 14.5V and 12V supply.

Or if the caps are down C822, 823, 826
Diodes D813 and the diode pair above it in the schematic.

I hope that the basic tests have been done in that section already such as checking to solder joints, rectifier diodes, inductor L810, etc.

Hi. I have the following problem with my TV. After connecting to mains, the standby led (red) turns on, but TV is not responding to remote control or buttons on TV. After some measurements, I found out that +5 V standby voltage is present, but I dont have ON/OFF signal coming in to turn PSU on. It stays at zero volts. After looking at the schematic of the mainboard, I should get ON/OFF signal coming in at the R1402 resistor, but it stays around +3,5 V. So I removed it and I was able to turn on TV with buttons on TV, but not with remote control.

What could be the problem ? Thanks...

                                            Hello,

I accidentally changed the project ID in the service menu of my Vidaa Hisense 100U7KQ TV. When I turn on the TV, the screen displays an RGB color cycle (test mode???). I contacted Hisense, and they sent me a usb_MTK_9618.EU.bin file, but it doesn't work. I can see that the USB drive is being read, and it flashes for about 10 minutes (the screen remains in the color cycle during the firmware reading), then the TV turns off and restarts, but still in the color cycle mode.

I want to mention that the 4GB USB is formatted in FAT32 MBR. I've also renamed the file to...
