TV LED 4K Selecline 65S18 ( T.MS3458.U801) stuck in Standby mode

    Hello

I have an TV Led 4K Selecline 65s18 with mainboard T.MS3458.U801

The TV is faulty with stuck in Standby RED LED. Can't power the TV.

Before this problem , the TV stuck the picture with artefact , i unplug the AC cable and since the tv is stuck in standby .

All voltage are OK on PSU and main board for regulator. I tried flash firmware 25Q64 with many dumps

But the voltage on power button is 0.6V not 3.3V. When i press power button the voltage up to 0V. I tried to add 5V with Power Supply on 5V_STB and 3.3V on Power Button . Same problem

When i remove the the Flash Ic, the voltage on power button is 3.3V .

    The CPU is normaly heating

I didn't understand this problem. Is the CPU faulty ?

Here schematics and original dump. Do you have any ideas

Try and replace the spi flash with a new one.

I already tried to use an other spi flash ic
Because the original GD25Q64 , i can't erase it with CH341a. I used an MX25L64 from an laptop motherboard

This MX25L64 may not start your motherboard, you need to find the original GD25Q64 or Winbond W25Q64 (with DUAL/QUAD SPI & QPI support)
And you can’t erase your own, since it’s more likely to be protected from erasure (status register).

          Ok, GD25q64 i don't have but i'll try to find Winbond W25Q64

For the protection i tried use NeoProgrammer for unprotect but didn't work

I succeeddd to unprotect write the GD25Q64. Now write and erase work

I tried you fix dump , and other dumps , All tries didn't work there is same problem.

When i remove Flash chip, there is 3.3V on keypad ( Power Button) . When the flash chip is solder on mainboard the voltage is 0.6V on keypad .

What voltage (how many volts) do you have on 8 pin. with GD25Q64 installed and removed?

                Hi all,
I’m trying to recover a Lenovo Yoga Slim 7-14ARE05 with board DA0LS3MBAF0 Rev:F. I’ve run into an unusual issue where USB-C PD is stuck at 4.7–5V and the system won’t boot (keyboard lights flash briefly, then nothing).
🔥 The Problem Started After Suspected ESD/PD Fault
I experienced a power issue or ESD event through a USB-C charger
After that, the NX20P5090 power switch was visibly burned and was replaced
Now the PD controller always negotiates 5V @ 2A, even with known-good chargers

LG 32LB1R - stuck in standby mode
                by lego1234567
Hi. I have the following problem with my TV. After connecting to mains, the standby led (red) turns on, but TV is not responding to remote control or buttons on TV. After some measurements, I found out that +5 V standby voltage is present, but I dont have ON/OFF signal coming in to turn PSU on. It stays at zero volts. After looking at the schematic of the mainboard, I should get ON/OFF signal coming in at the R1402 resistor, but it stays around +3,5 V. So I removed it and I was able to turn on TV with buttons on TV, but not with remote control.

What could be the problem ? Thanks...

                Dear colleagues,
I've entered the repair of the chromebook machines just one month ago and I've found some significant differences from the classic laptops or macbooks, so I'm searching some advices.

The owner of this chromebook gave it to me after it has been left flooded by water for almost a week, so chances of repair were not so high, the mainboard was oxidyzed in many spots but I made a nice cleaning, resoldering and component replaging work and now it is almost working.

Among other things I've cleaned many spots from oxyds, reballed CPU, EMMC, EC, replaced...

Corsair HX 750W - DC Leakage at 12V Output Rail in Standby Mode
                by прямо
Just received it today from a friend.
Auto shutdown by the supervisor IC because of an under voltage condition with 12V output rail (dropped to 10.5V)

The same rail also does this when the PSU is in standby mode.

                https://ibb.co/5TBkg66

The leakage keeps climbing at a steady rate but slowing down when it reaches over 800mV or so. I didn't measure exactly at what value it stopped or if it's even stopped at all.

                What could have caused that?

First time I have seen such behavior.

3.3V and 5V rails don't have the same...
